Dmil(87) likes food-scratch that-loves food!!
Which is why I've tried to make a balance of various eateries I know/hope she'll enjoy.

However,does not like the whole wait for table/shown to table/drinks order/food order/wait...
She likes to enter a restaurant and within minutes food magically appears; ie the reason behind diamond horseshoe

Therefore-is there another family style / buffet we ought to choose or move around current ADR's again&again&again?!

We currently have ADR's at the following buffet/family style restaurants:

Boma dinner

Tusker house late breakfast/into lunch (newly added as req by dh)

Garden grill lunch

Do you want to stay at MK for convenience? You have Liberty Tree Tavern and Crystal Palace for AYCE/buffet.

The CG brunch certainly looks good and might work for her immediate food desires and the reviews so far are pretty outstanding. Its on my list. I've eaten at CG a ton of times, but I'm excited to try the brunch and I usually hate buffets, I'm making an exception on that one:)

Did you include that info in your previous post? I didn't notice it.

Even with the food being a buffet, she needs to understand that the wait for table shown to table order drinks part is still going to happen. Thaler is especially interesting for how you sign in move along out of sight from the entrance then wait again.

Do you have a car? She might love Sweet Tomatoes (at The Crossings across from Disney Springs).

You husband wants her to not feel sad that she's missing out if she can't go to a given adr. What will she do for food if she's not up to going? And do you guys know that there are still lines for counter service? And if you're goi g during a busy time they might not let someone sit at a table until everyone has their food.

Conversations with hubby and MIL about realistic expectations (for CS, buffets, lines, and what's going to happen to your plans if she can't leave the resort or room) might be a terrific idea if you haven't really had those.

Thanks for your response.

I've mentioned in previous posts regarding dmil foodie 'preferences'
She understands food may not be immediate-she just doesn't like it!
I've advised dh many times he needs to remind & advise her-
Good things are worth waiting for...
And if dmil can't attend reservation we will leave her food.
We generally don't eat at peak times as I'm not a great fan of lines either (not quite as bad though!!)

The food is served quickly at LTT and it is more than edible but there is always a pretty significant wait past ADR time. There are very few TS locations that can always be relied on to seat you immediately even with an ADR so you should explain that before you go. Maybe she will decide to stay home-:P.
