ROOM: 2026 (2nd floor) LOCATION: OLD KEY WEST STUDIO

- Small dining table with 2 chairs
- 2 plastic chairs and small table on balcony
- Electrical Outlets: 6 duplex
- Lighting: double wall pendants over each bed; single hanging pendant over dining table; double front windows (ambient light); french patio doors (ambient light)
KITCHENETTE:
- GE mini refrigerator
- GE turntable microwave (small)
- Sunbeam toaster (2 slice)
- Protor Silex coffee maker (12 Cup)
- 1 pack coffee
- sugar, sweet n low packs, liquid coffee mate creamer
- Palmolive dishwashing soap, sponge, and dishtowel

ROOM REVIEW
*ROOM PROBLEMS:
1) No elevator to the 2nd floor. Need to use Bell Services until this building is renovated.
2) Flourescent ballast over sink makes buzzing sound. Needs to be replaced.
3) Soap dishes in bath tub had soap bits on both. Not perfectly clean.
4) Tub surface was slippery. Anti-skid had worn off.
5) Refrigerator bottom shelf had a few crumbs.
6) Toaster had crumbs on top and inside.
7) Coffee pot looked rinsed, but not clean.
8) Room was not sound proof. I could hear every bus that went by and nearby exterior doors that closed. *On last morning, landscapers were using gas powered blowers to clean the front walks and pool area before 8 AM.
9) Shower has a low flow massage type head. Water pressure was adequate, but just enough not to be irritating.
10) Hot water seemed to take a while to heat up.
11) Glasses in cabinet had greasy lip prints around rim of 2 glasses. Looked rinsed not washed.
12) Lake and canals had a green scum/algae on them. Wondered if that was normal or a problem?
ROOM KUDOS:
1) Decor is bright and beautiful.
2) Room always smelled really "fresh" with a light floral scent when I entered.
3) Beds were VERY comfortable.
4) Property Location was very convenient. OKW is centrally located, but nearer to Magic Kingdom.
5) Room Location was convenient to a bus stop, laundry, pool, and parking.
6) Laundry use is free. Just bring your own detergent & softener.
7) Balcony was nice and private.
8) CM's are all very nice and friendly!
9) Air Conditioner temperature control was perfect. I never had to readjust the setting after the first time.
10) Balcony railings have "hidden mickey" cut outs!
11) Towel animals were unexpected at a DVC resort but welcomed!
12) Enjoyed being "Welcomed Home" by everyone from the front gate guard to the Front Desk CM's!
13) While I was there the front walks and porches all were pressure washed to maintain their new look.
14) Received coupon for free 1 day rental of a Pal Mickey!
15) Welcome Home packet lists the activities and property amenities that guests may enjoy. Did not make use of the boats or bikes this trip, but will make a point to do so in the future...
