I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day. We went out to lunch with the ladies from one of my pool classes, one of our members was celebrating the 5th anniversary of her being cancer free. We had pizza at home tonight. DH and DD got me an iTunes card so I could put some new tunes on my iPod to run to, I'm so glad they didn't get me chocolate.

I'm off to bed, my hubby is already snoring next to me, I should take advantage of him not being so loud for a change and try to fall asleep before he gets that loud. :lmao:

Delaney looks gorgeous! Did you have fun at the show?

My Valentine's day was lovely. Henry came home from work, ate supper, and retreated to the bedroom to study. He's taking a class to be a reserve officer with the local police department. I'm not too keen on it. But, it's something he's always wanted to do, so I have to support him. :scared:
He has 5 months of classes and training. After that, he will need to put in 10-20 hours/month of volunteer police work "In exchange for the free training." I thought it was hilarious when I read that in the brochure he got.

my sweet dh got me a cirius satelite radio for valentines day. WOOHOO!!! I think it was more for him, but I am loving it, I get to listen to the Jonas brothers alot now!! (did I say that out loud?) speaking of ... does anyone know if the have anything related to the JBs in the line of fabric to make a shirt for dd???? (or even me). UGH I am old enough to be their mother, but they are just so cute, like if I had an older dd I would hook her up. :rotfl:

:worship: :worship: :worship: Lisa! I am in awe of your talent! That applique is gorgeous!!!!!!!! I really need to do an applique, I am afraid I am not patient enough. I am working on an outfit for Kenzie, and I was ready to throw my ruffler foot out the window.:scared1: :headache:  My ruffle wouldn't ruffle, and I had to take out the seam 3times. Anyway, I need to start off with something simple.

I love all the valentine's outfits, and am excited to see what everyone is going to make next. I am going to try to pick up the rest of my material tomorrow to finish outfits for my trip. If I could just find some Minnie dot fabric, I may have to break down and buy it off of :wizard: because I can't find it anywhere else.

My biggest problem with my ruffler foot is that I always forget to put the presser foot lever down before I start sewing. I start cursing the ruffler and then realize I didn't put the foot down. :rotfl:

Lisazoe- :worship: :worship: WOW!! Aurora is Beautiful!!! Who ever is getting that in the mail is very very lucky!!!

I cut my pink & green minnie today! And have started on the playhouse disney LIVE on stage outfits- We are going next friday, So I thought I better get started, you know as not to wait until the last minute.....:rolleyes1
I see me feverishly sewing next thursday night and friday afternoon:eek:

Loved the nemo on ice picture too- did your dd love it?!?!?

Teresa- Are you all better now?? I think I have caught something  My nose is very drippy and I have been sneezing- Which makes my dd fake sneeze to copy me so at least I have some entertainment  ;)

Yes I spent a very romantic evening on the couch with kleenex in hand AHHHHH CHEW.........

Now I'm just posting again so I can beat Jeanne (Jham) for number

Oh, yes I did!

Oh THANK YOU!!! I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one. :rotfl: I did that at least twice when making the skirt. At least the second time I figured out what was wrong pretty quickly but the first time I was about ready to throw the machine. I already have a very shaky relationship with my ruffler foot because it's temperamental so every time I use it I expect problems. My main sewing machine won't even work when I have that foot on. I don't think it has enough power to move the gadgets that do the ruffling. I pulled out my old Kenmore and it at least can get the ruffler to work most times but the needle thread seems to break much too often. I'm starting to think I need to use the ruffler only when Zoe's either at school or asleep so she doesn't pick up any unsavory new vocabulary words. :headache:

Don't misunderstand...I LOVE Giselle....she's gorgeous...and she's a cartoon...how does that happen? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You know, Esmeralda, Jasmine and Ariel in her Mermaid outfit are pretty "forward thinking" as my DH and teenage son say. Some how they never seem to feel quite the same about Cinderella and Aurora and Mulan. Wonder why:confused3  :confused3

They live in Harsen's Island.

They are practically in Canada!

Sawyer turns 2 in June, so that's only about a 10 month age difference. Yup, they need to work at Disney, I like that idea! Do you think they'll mind that we have their whole lives mapped out for them?
I don't see why they would have a problem with it!

I LOST 3.5LBS!!!!! I am soo happy! Hope I can keep this up! So I want to hear from everyone else!!! and also HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!
That is fantastic!!!! WOO HOO!!!!
Ok I know it was awhile ago, but someone asked to see the fabric that I bought late one night off of :wizard: . I would have posted this sooner but we have been having major camera issues. We have three cameras in this house. One won't hold a charge for long, one doesn't have a USB cable and one is new and I don't know how to use it yet.

Well here is the fabric.
This is a castle picture on fabric that I intend to applique on the bodice of a dress.

This is a Belle and Beast panel that I will appliqueing onto the bodice of a Belle dress.
S2010056.jpg

And this is the Cinderella fabric that I have never seen bofore or since buying this fabric.
S2010055.jpg

And I got my Giselle pillowcase in the mail yesterday.
CIMG0547.jpg
The pillowcase has the same image on both sides.

This is a Mickey and Minnie panel that I bought the same night as the others.
CIMG0549.jpg

And this is Miss Nosey Butt who kept putting her nose in the way of my pitures.
CIMG0548.jpg

Ignore the date on the bottom of the pictures. DH has not taught me how to change the date on that camera.

Great finds! I picked up some of those panels at Hancock's the other day, they were on clearance. I have no idea what I'm going to do with them. But, Lydia, as usual, said she wants them for a blankie for her dolls!

I saw the Cinderella fabric a few years ago. I always thought it was pretty neat! Great find! What are you planning on making with it?

I'm pretty sure if I were a cartoon I'd be gorgeous :lmao:

Now, that just mad me laugh!!!

Hey, I am tired and smelly so I am taking a shower and going to bed but I wanted to say:

I made a bow!!!!! Actually 4! Pictures tomorrow!

And Teresa, I just saw today the section of scrunchies just for me in your bookmarks (when I was trying to figure out how to make a bow). You are so sweet! :lovestruc

Happy Valentine's Day! Good night!

Yeah for you!!!!!! And, I think you are pretty sweet yourself!!

That is just gorgeous!!! I love the way Aurora looks like she's got a little bit of attitude going on there!

Hmmmmmmm now what to do first. I'm guessing the twirl skirt is a definite must have :D I've seen those corsety type tops all over the place so I'm sure in my head I can figure something else (probably won't look as cool) and a peasant top.... I may need to actually buy a pattern for that.
The pattern in the bookmarks is a pretty good one, you could try that out to see if you liked it.

And, it's fun buying fabric when someone else is paying for it!

So, did making the bows cause you to be tired and smelly? ;) You have officially made more bows than I have. My grand tally is 3, if you count the ones shaped like Cinderella and Ariel. Can't wait to see your pictures. Yes, my sister is sweet!:cloud9:

How pretty! Tessa just said today that she wants an Aurora outfit. So, go ahead and send it on over. :rotfl:

My sister is sweet too!

My biggest problem with my ruffler foot is that I always forget to put the presser foot lever down before I start sewing. I start cursing the ruffler and then realize I didn't put the foot down. :rotfl:
 And, you really shouldn't curse Heather, your Momma taught you better!
Teresa- Are you all better now?? I think I have caught something  My nose is very drippy and I have been sneezing- Which makes my dd fake sneeze to copy me so at least I have some entertainment  ;)
I'm feeling better, but Lydia still has a sore throat, cough, and snotty nose. I took her to the doctor today and she has something with a long name. There's nothing they can do about it, just wait it out. She does seem to be feeling a bit better this evening, but she is REALLY REALLY WHINEY! Really

Why won't those kids just stay in bed when they're sick- All want to do is climb all over you with their sick germs and be held ALL day!! You know but in a good way..... And I guess we're always telling them to share right??
That's my way of saying the kids each had a little cold last week and now it's All Mine yay me!!!! :sad2:

I certainly would be since I could really erase wrinkles, cellulite, hips, etc. ;)

Well, here's what I've been working on frantically to get it out today. I was so happy I got it done with plenty of time for photos.

Did you attach the forked part to the needle? Sometimes I forget to do that, and then the ruffler part won't move....

I think I lost Heather's quote about the weight loss. Way to go Heather!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
I lost one pound this week!

Another question (sorry)

Can someone tell me what fabric those pettiskirts are made from?? Once again they are something that isn't available in NZ (that I can see) but they look fun and girly :)

Anyone made one?

Amazing!!! I love the colors of all the fabrics!!!

Now that is worth $700!!!!!!!

Megan: That is cute! I like the colors.

Is she a mini-me or what? I agree with the others who said it's a piece of art. You really have a knack for picking the fabrics that look really great together. I wish you were with me when I am picking out fabric!

I'm so excited  - a couple of lovely dis-ers have been disney fabric shopping for me and the first package is on it's way YAY what a fab bunch you are. And for once I don't feel guilty about fabric shopping as I'm not the one walking out with armfuls of fabric lol :rolleyes1 So...... YAY I get to do some disney customs too :) I'll try hard not to stalk our postie lol :)

Actually, sorting carnations at Jacob's school did it. His student council project was selling them and then the moms got to sort and count them. Isn't is funny how that happens?

I am quite partial to the Holiday area! Anyone ever go to Howard Park? I always loved that beach!

Howard Park is beautiful!

Here are much anticipated bow pictures. I'm sorry they are not good pictures.
