Disboards Tech Support

Hello,

I'm new to Disboards, trying to figure out the in's/out's of this software. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Here's my list of questions I have for Disboards:
How do I.....
1) change my user name?
2) insert a signature? All fancied up?
3) list my family with character pictures?
4) list previous Disney trips?
5) insert a countdown to our next Disney trip?

Is there a quick tutorial somewhere I could read or someone in Tech support that could help me?

So I'm at my signature, where or what button is the option to insert a countdown? Is this something I have to get from the internet? URL? Or are there a list of Disney ones I can choose from, like the character options?

You can't change your username. If you wish to use something different, you'll need to register again with the name you wish to use.

Thanks. I did not realize when I opened my account it would be using my username.

I am not sure how to quote from the post i wish to reply to. I am also not sure how to use the test section. I only see an option to start a new thread and I don't think that's what i want to do.This newbie would really appreciate some help to my likely very basic questions. Thanks

To Disboards.

I'm new and just learning myself so I'll do my best to help you.

1) I'm not to sure on the quote option myself. Have not used it yet. But if you hit reply to a specific persons post, then it will quote what they said. Then you can reply to their post below their quote.

2) I've seen the tests board under the Technical Support board. There is a section called "Test Board" you can go to to practice.

3) I think when you start a new thread your starting a new subject for folks to reply to. Maybe you have questions about something at or about Disney and would like to get people's opinions. Just sharing thoughts, ideas, etc. If you read around the different boards you'll see the various subjects that's are discussed.
