DISboards 2004 Babies!!!!

Did anyone else have a baby this year, or are you expecting one? Thought it would be fun to see how many 2004 babies are "here".

We had our 3rd son, Benjamin, on March 6th. So he's 3 months old (already!!) He'll be celebrating his 1st Birthday in WDW next year! Yippee!!!

I am due Ocotber 15th, but I am going to try to schedule the baby for october 8th. It is Cloumbus Weekend and everyone will be off the whole time I am in the hospital to take care of my kids!

This is our 3rd and I wont know until the baby comes what we are having. And it drives my DH nutty not to know.

Are you being induced? Or having a scheduled cs? I had all 3 of mine by cs. All 3 were scheduled, but with #1 and #3 I went into labor so had them earlier than expected!

We found out with all 3 of ours, I'm way too impatient to wait till delivery.

I'd forgotten how much I disliked the last few weeks of pregnancy

We're taking all three kidlets on their first WDW trip in October, DS and DD are so excited they don't know what to do with themselves. DD wants to take "her baby" to say "Hi!" to everyone at Disney!

Nope I dont have C-sections. But I was induced with my first becuase I was in Philly and my family was here. I needed someone to watch my dog and it was Columbus Weekend.

DD was scheduled so no one had to take off work to take care of my DS. That was labor day, but I actaully went into labor the night before..so that made it easy. But the doctor never showed up! They found thig other guy (not even sure if he was a doctor) to deliver me. So NEVER again will I go without being scheduled!

This one, I am not sure yet where I am going to be. Here, a little more south, or Atlanta..in which case family memebers need a long weekend to come help.

I didnt find out the sex with Nico and I did with Julie. I told DH every other one we can find out..that way it is a compromise!

onecoolmama-How many kids do you hope to have? (It sounds like you'll have more after this one??) We're not sure about #4....... Our hands are FULL with the 3 right now. lol

How neat there are a couple other March babies here! My due date was St. Patrick's Day, but I knew I'd have the cs a week or two early. Still, it was fun telling people I was due that day!

DD #2 was born 4/16/04 - 6 days late! The girls will go on their first Disney trip Nov 05, but I already have DD#1 planning with me.

I know what you mean DD#1 was due on valentine's Day. Of course, she didn't arrive until the 22nd, but LOL, it was fun just to say it.

tonyswife-So how is your little guy doing now that he's 3 months old? Benjamin loves to smile, he takes one look at me and can't help but break into a huge grin. lol (He loves his mommy, what can I say I'm his world right now! I excusively nurse him.) He had started sleeping through the night, but then got a cold and was up with that. And now he wakes at 3am and 5am, then up for the day at 7am!

Congrats!!!!!!! Do you have a name chosen yet? My boys are Nicholas (Nick), Alexander (Alex) and Benjamin (Ben).

LOL Liz, don't hate me, but TJ has been sleeping through the night since the day he was born. I continually thank God for that small favor. I also exclusively nurse TJ and he LOVES his mama. I just LOVE that huge toothless grin and happy baby giggle. We co-sleep so the first thing I see in the morning is his happy little face, makes my whole day.

How are your older boys doing with Ben? My DD (2.5) LOVES her new brother. I feel truely blessed.

In all seriousness (I know, doesn't happen often ), DW is hopefully getting the go ahead from her oncologist to be able to start trying any day now. We didn't plan to have 4+ years between kids, but life sort of got in the way.

LOL I don't hate you, I'd be shouting it from the rooftops if I were you!! My other ds's were over a year old before they slept through the night, so this is the norm around here. lol

Nick and Alex LOVE "Baby Ben" as they call him. They constantly want to hold him, and my 2 yr old likes stroking his hair, so cute. Of course thry get frustrated sometimes when I have to tend to Ben and they want something. But mostly all is good!

Congrats on ebf, how long to you plan to nurse? I'm planning to do the same as I did with my first two: ebf until 6 months, them continue until 15 months. I love nursing.
