Thanks! :)

In all seriousness (I know, doesn't happen often ;) ), DW is hopefully getting the go ahead from her oncologist to be able to start trying any day now. We didn't plan to have 4+ years between kids, but life sort of got in the way. :)

Aw, I hope she gets the green light to try soon, and I hope you are successful asap!! Best wishes!!! :)

LOL I don't hate you, I'd be shouting it from the rooftops if I were you!!::yes:: My other ds's were over a year old before they slept through the night, so this is the norm around here. lol

My two year old JUST started sleeping all night, LOL. Maybe TJ is my reward for not chuncking DD out the window on all those long sleepless nights.

Nick and Alex LOVE "Baby Ben" as they call him. They constantly want to hold him, and my 2 yr old likes stroking his hair, so cute. Of course thry get frustrated sometimes when I have to tend to Ben and they want something. But mostly all is good!

Yup, my two year old LOVES to touch the baby and sing to him. Of course, she does get frustrated when I am nursing sometimes. She's taken to "nursing" her stuffed animals.

Congrats on ebf, how long to you plan to nurse? I'm planning to do the same as I did with my first two: ebf until 6 months, them continue until 15 months. I love nursing. :lovestruc

Yup, that's my plan. I nursed DD until around 14ish months. I won't start solids until TJ is at least 6 months old. He may get "momsicles" this summer though, once he can sit in his highchair. I got some popsicle makers and will make posicles with my expressed milk. I did this with DD and it really helped with teething and for keeping her occupied while I made dinner or did house work or whatever. I also love nursing. :D

liznboys--your boys' names remind me of my neighbors. Their oldest is Alexander, second son is Ben, third son is Zach...they figured that they better name him Zach lest they have to work their way through the alphabet before having a girl! And yes, the boys have a little sister named Hannah.;)

I had a baby due 4/21/04 but sadly miscarried in Sept. and another due 10/3/04 but miscarried that one too. Don't know if I have it in me to go for it again. (As you can see from my username I am probably too old for it anyway. :( ) DH is excited about trying again as we have not been blessed with a birthchild as of yet. Probably more info than you were looking for on this thread. Sorry.

That's too cute about your dd nursing her stuffed animals. My 2 yr old did that a couple times when Ben was first born. He'd lift up his shirt and give Barney or Spiderman a snack! LOL!!

I've never heard of doing that with breastmilk-sounds like a cool idea! Ben would love that right now, he is teething and likes knawing on things!! He's a drool monster right now, ugh, always slimey! lol

I am so very sorry about your losses. :(:( I wouldn't give up yet as long as your Dr.'s say it's ok to keep trying. It could still happen for you, and boy would all of this that you've gone through be worth it in the end!! Do you know about Baby Center ? There are lots of message boards there with women who've gone through what you have, and even more. I've been posting there for years, it's a wonderful site. Just thought I'd mention it to you in case you're interested. Good vibes for you!!!:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes (Oh an don't apologize, you are welcome on this thread too!!:))
