DisAUCTION! I don't like it!

Hi everyone,

Maybe my heading should have read "I don't THINK I like it!". It sounds very confusing. Is there something wrong with the way this board functions? If it's not broken, don't fix it!
I'm surprised more people don't have an opinion about this. Why isn't there more information about it available? I rent points occasionally, I am wondering how owners, who need to rent out points quite often, feel about this. I guess it's difficult to say, since no one knows much about it.

It just doesn't sound good to me, maybe I'm wrong. Any ideas, anyone?

I know that DIS boards is getting expensive to run. Maybe they will charge transaction fees like ebay does to help pay for the boards.

Well, it's Pete's boards so he should be able to make these decisions, however who says another DVC member cannot put up a rent/trade board on their site and post the link here. (It wouldn't be a commercial link).

Go read Pete's post under the initial, longer thread. He's going to keep the board as/is, but he specifically said the people complaining about the change weren't even site sponsors... so I figure if you've saved 20.00 off having the board around, out of the goodness of your heart, maybe you'd pay the 20 or 40.00+ to become a site sponsor
