Just to let you know that Disney have replied to my complaint regarding our Vow Renewal with an apology, and a full refund of $1000 for the Renewal Package and a further $450 voucher off a further cruise.

Thank you all for reading my report and all of your support.

Hope 2004 sees everyone happy cruising!!

Wow, that is terrific news. I am so glad that they corrected the situation.
 
That is awesome, Rosemary! I'm very happy for you. It doesn't replace the memories that could have been, but Disney did acknowlege fault and validate your claim. All good, to me.
 
Again, it is amazing to know that with the right words to the right person, things can be remedied!

Considering everything that Disney could have done in response to your letter, I think you got a very good response. I hope you have a fabulous cruise when you use those vouchers!
 
I am glad you got a positive outcome to your dilemma. Have a great new year! Disney once again comes through and does the right thing. Did we ever really doubt they would?

I was so sorry to read your trip report - But I am glad DCL made it better for you - Maybe you will try again to erase the old memory!

Congratulations! I wish for you it didn't happen to begin with, but like I said before ~ you & your family will probably get a good chuckle for years to come over this whole "event", as ya just can't make this stuff up!

I think reasonable people usually get resolution to their satisfaction with DCL. Good for you!

I'm glad they did the right thing and that it all worked out for you. I always hate it when someone doesn't have a good time at anything Disney.
 
As with any concern that you may have with Disney all you have to do is ask and follow through.
 
Guess I can start thinking about a renewal next July.
 
Rosemary, I am soooooo glad this has worked out. Money will not make up for your disappointment but will be a good start for your next good memory....hey, come join us on our 11/13/04 eastern!
 
I am so happy they made some reparations and admitted wrong doing. I felt so bad when I read about your problems. We all plan so hard and long for these trips that when things don't work out it is very disappointing.
