Disappointed!!

We just got back today and I will write a trip report this week BUT - -
everyone should know that if your looking for Mr. Incredible, you'll be disappointed.

We went to Magic Kingdom on Saturday and a cast member (who was with Buzz) told us that Mr. Incredible was only in MGM. So, the next day we went to MGM. Guest Relations at MGM told us that the Incredibles are no longer making ANY appearances at any Disney property. I asked when they will be back and I could not get an answer.

I complained to Guest Relations at MGM, so they called the entertainment department to see if anything could be done. Of course since it was the weekend, GR said the manager was not in on the weekend.

They only thing they said was they the entertainment department MAY be able to send us ( and 4 kids) a letter from Mr. Incredible stating that he was sorry he missed us.

I am so disappointed since Disney has no problem selling ALL Incredible merchandise but fails to post anywhere that the Incredibles will not be appearing until further notice.

Can you imagine how disappointed my 5 year old was after thinking for a week that he was going to see Mr. Incredible!!

I am soooo disappointed in Disney.

I'm sorry your kids were disappointed!

I had read awhile back that the Incredibles were no longer making appearances, but I don't remember now where it was. I don't understand what you want them to do though? There are a lot of characters who aren't in the parks but their merchandise is.

I can understand that some characters no longer make appearances, i.e. Monsters, Inc., Bugs Life, but the Incredibles are huge right now. They do not even have them in the Stars and Cars Parade. They promote them sooo much in merchandising and when you expect a popular character to be available, it is diappointing when have to tell your 5 year old that the "incredibles are on vacation."

I guess my thinking is it would be way too hard to post all the Disney characters that aren't around rather than letting people know what characters are around. I think they do this.

A letter would be cool to get.

They would be great characters to have in the parks, too bad they didn't keep them longer...sorry you were disappointed.

Sorry you are disapointed. But in most cases the "new" characters are only around while movie &/or DVD comes out.

Both monster's inc and bugs life were in the park this past week......
