Disappointed while riding......

pirates if the carribean at MK this past week. i waqs really looking forward to it becasue i heard it was supposed to be "updated" and it was, its just, they took a lot of the old stuff out and that was my favorite part......please dont hurt me but i didnt like the ride. i liked the old one better!

What did they take out of the WDW one? I've only been to Disneyland, and they've only added, I didn't see anything taken out but Blackbeard. Was it different than the DL one in the first place? lol sorry. I really wish I could go to WDW.

That stinks. When we last went, they were still updating. It was so good before-this is one of those rides that I never would have expected them to change. From what I heard, it is pretty different.
No flames, but I thought that the movies were just okay. They were fun to watch once or twice, but after that it just got pretty bleh.

i am pretty sure some of the burning town and some other things to. i dunno, it seemed to be a lot less features. the only new thing i discovered was jack sparrow..............i guess, to me, it seemed like there was more "space" where things were taken out and it seemed more spread out.

I really dislike them basing the ride around the movie now, it should be the other way around.

They didn't really take anything out, just added in characters. The only scene that's different is very last one other than that the ride is exactly the same..

from what i heard all they did was put Jack Sparrow and Barbosa in and they didnt touch anything eles but i felt the same way the when i heard this i was not happy i really dont think should be messing with the classics its like putting in Nemo in Its A Small World and like putting Lilo & Stitch in Space Ship Earth you can't mess with the classics

Are you serious?? So they got ppl all worked up for that??
See, that's the thing about Disney that upsets me a little bit. For example-Everest. That wasn't such a great ride!! The yeti isn't as "scary" as it was on TV, it doesn't drop down from the ceiling and grab your cart, you see it for 1.5 seconds and it just does a little RAWR.

Now, I'm sorry if I'm making ppl upset by saying there's something that disappoints me about Disney, but it's my opinion. I will never say it's a fact.

I wasn't that pleased with the rennovation myself.

I am glad they didn't take out the Hidden Mickey though. It was the first Hidden Mickey I ever found.
