Well I want to write non-Dis appropriate words about a tooth called wisdom that ruined my plans of a magic filled birthday celebration for my son at the WWOHP :headache::guilty::sad2::sad1:

Due to that nasty infected tooth we ended up checking into RPR very late evening and the next morning I was in so much pain that there was no way I could go to a park and the best teen son in the whole wide world didn’t want to go without me so we missed WWOHP :guilty::guilty::guilty::guilty::guilty:

As he is just a great guy (not a kid anymore) that took the disappointment so well and tried not to make me feel so much worse than I already did that I want to make it up to him by planning a trip back to a Universal resort for a weekend of magical fun

So please help me pick the best time of year to go. We will plan on making it a long weekend and staying at a Universal resort. Since this is the only focus when is the best time of year to go for the lowest crowds where everything in WWOHP should be open :confused3

Thanks for the help :goodvibes

If anything happens to our plans for next week, we'll either go the first week of November or first full week of December. -from the research I've done, neither should be too crowded.

So sorry about your trip, we had to cancel last year and I know how disappointing it is.

The first weekend in October is really nice. OUCH on the wisdom tooth. I just went through that about a year ago. I would rather give birth all over again than EVER go through that again. Worst thing EVER!

OP that stinks,

Speaking as a budget planner;)is airfare a consideration? might want to price it & hotel rates 1st before making a decision.

I've found the last weekend of January (after MLK & before Pres Day weekends) to be a low attendance @ U & WDW

1st week of Dec is increasingly becoming more crowded @ WDW. Didn't visit that time last year so I don't know what effect HP has had on the crowds @ U, but it was always a good week prior.

enjoy your trip

We were shocked at how low the crowds were the weekend AFTER Turkey Day. Now if we aren't going down for Halloween events, we always go the week after Turkey Day... but even that weekend was light.

I don't know that you'll get so lucky with airfare however... since that's a heavily traveled weekend.
