Well, we got back last night from our stay. Had a great time but I have to say I'm REALLY disappointed in what they have. The 2R's shop didn't have anything I hadn't already seen in the POFQ and Boardwalk gift shops. The colors are bland and the stickers are tiny. No page toppers like I had pictured in my mind. I think they need a wider selection to accomodate varied styles of scrapbooking.

Ann, I agree with you on 2r's selection. What they really need is some real scrap gals in working there. Sooner or later they will hook up with a big name and theings will really take off. I was really disappointed in their selection, but my husband was happy because I didn't spend as much as I thought I would I did buy a sticker pack and 5x7 pack. But nothing stuck out as I had to have it. Oh well, I still had fun taking pictures :o)

This is one reason I teach my Disney class as an elements class. I try to show the class how to think outside the licensed Disney box.

We each have our own scrapping style, and there are hundreds of manufactures of scrapping supplies to chose from in order to achieve that style. When it comes to Disney we have only what Disney has licensed from its one or two manufacturers. If we want to use licensed Disney we are forced into their box. I am not saying that Disney doesn't have some nice things. I have used quite a few of them in my albums, but why limit ourselves.

Here are just a few suggestions... AcuCut has Green Army men for those toy story layouts, They also have glittery crowns and wands for our Princess' . Shotzs has LEGOs for down town Disney. Jolee has wonderful 3D destination stickers for nearly every country in Epcot and Hollywood for MGM.

I bet if we put our creative thinking caps on we could come up with dozens more.

I agree, and this is fun. I'm doing my Disney album right now and find that lots of my pages don't have a "Disney" theme at all. Me & My Big Ideas has camping (for Ft. Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge) and safari (for animal kingdom) stickers. Also lots of zoo animal stickers and animal theme paper for Animal Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Lodge. For Blizzard Beach, I'm using icicle die cuts as a topper, with snowmen and winter theme. Anyone else have some good ideas? By the way, I stocked up on Mickey stuff and then was amazed how few pictures I have with Mickey actually in them.
