Disappointed in Dole Whips

Dole Floats are the pineapple frozen yogurt with pineapple juice. They are so yummy! That is what I get everytime, I'm so excited its a snack credit now!!!!

We had a float this week. DD8 and I shared and I was naseous-full as usual afterwards. Maybe you just got them out of cups--or a stingy server. Hope so!

I had a Dole whip float on the 20th of May and it was in a large plastic cup, first time I have had one, the price was $3.79 as I just through out the receipt yesterday. We were on the DDP but I always marked down the price of everything. Hubby and I couldn't finish it but it was good. Linda

I hope they aren't going to "cheapen" some of the best snacks due to them now being on the DDP. DH and I LOVE Dole Whips.

I was thinking that same thing...I sure hope not, the vanilla and pineapple swirled dole whips are my absolute favorite!

To clarify, we just got the plain Dole whips. The floats were in the plastic cups. We were at the MK on May 28 and this "travesty"...lol... ocurred then. Everybody seemed pretty ticked. The cups were tiny (little yellow things) and the servers were not filling them up very high or fully.

We were just there from 5-23 through 5/31 and that's what they looked like! We had one on the 24th and another on the 29th. The whips were in the smaller cups but there was tons of ice cream coming way over the top, like in your picture. DS got a cone in a cup and it was HUGE. The whips were in large plastic cups. The serving sizes were quite large, IMO.

I really think it has to do with the person filling your cup, some are more generous than others. When we went in May, we had a person who barely filled our cup but the person who was working at the next til filled their cup to the fullest height it seemed.

OK. So I guess I will have to watch the Aloha Isle stand for awhile and determine which server gives out the biggest servings. Then I will head into that line. I'll do anything for a dole whip.

Actually I heard it was to cover the cost of lost revenue on soda at the refill stations.

Get the Dole whip float! It is a dole whip in pineapple juice ( I prefer the dole whip swirled with vanilla float) and the size is the same. The regular dole whips were NOT in the plastic cup...and were puny when I was there.

A dole whip is kinda like a pineapple ice-cream/sherbet. Very good.

Perhaps they are trying to save enough money to hire more lifeguards to cover all the pool hoppers.

Don't forget extra security in the resort parking lots to make sure people aren't just headed into the parks with free parking
