Disappointed in Dole Whips

We LOVE Dole Whips! Well, shame, SHAME on WDW!!! They are now half the size (in little ol' tiny paper cups) and the server fixed it where the whole center was hollow!!!!

Never, never again. 3 of them were 10.00 and MAYBE had a cup of dole whip b/w all of them.

No way!! I can't believe it! They are absolutely my familys favorite. Why did they change the size? Maybe if we are lucky, they will change them back for our trip in August! (wishfull thinking huh?)

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??? OMG, Dole Whips are my absolute favorite! Last fall, at Disneyland, they were HUGE in plastic cups. Maybe WDW was low on cups when you were there?? I'm so looking forward to a Dole Whip, I really hope they're not crap when I'm there.

I had a Dole Whip Float in MK in May 2006 and it was in a large plastic cup. DH and I shared it and it was great. We used 1 snack credit to get it.

When were you there?

DH and I were there the end of April and they were the same as they've always been. Maybe there was a shortage of cups when you were there.

We will be there again in two weeks. If they have changed, we will be filling out a guest comment card in City Hall before we leave!

I hope they aren't going to "cheapen" some of the best snacks due to them now being on the DDP. DH and I LOVE Dole Whips.

I had a Dole Whip float when we were there May 21-28th and it was in a large clear plastic cup, same as always. I used one snack credit for it and the CM made a comment that she liked the way WDW had changed the snack credits making it easier for everyone. Nothing was said about a possibility of them changing the size. I don't really recall what size the plain Dole Whips were.

I thought the regular, non-float, dole whips were in a small paper cup before. They always had cones, cups and floats. Only the floats were in the bigger plastic cups. Maybe the CM was new and that is why they were kind of hollow in side.

Maybe they were just out of cups~ and with a new shipment things are back to normal? I can't eat a Dole Whip. I'm allergic to pineapple.

I was there May 20th-29th and did notice that the size of the cups weren't different but they didn't fill it up as high however I got the float. The float was awesome and it was pretty big it comes in a clear cup but when i went they put the clear cup in a large cup too so it didn't make a huge mess. I normally would have gotten the whip this was my first time actually trying one but I saw someone with their's and it looked very small for next time I would reccomend the floats they give you tons of the ice cream!

I really think it has to do with the person filling your cup, some are more generous than others. When we went in May, we had a person who barely filled our cup but the person who was working at the next til filled their cup to the fullest height it seemed.

I got a dole whip float the same time last week and it was in a large clear plastic cup. The regular dole whips were small and in small paper type cups. I observed this while in line and of course got the larger snack float. They were all really small not like the picture that was posted. Go for the float. It was great.

Dole Whips are frozen yogurt mixed with pineapple juice -- absolute heaven!

I've never tried a Dole whip before and planned on doing it this next trip. If what the first post said is true it looks like I'll try a float instead. Quick question-what makes it a float? Milk, pineapple juice or ? TIA

Are the Dole Whips only in MK? If so, where in MK? I don't recall seeing them the last time I was there. But then again, last time I went I did not know of these boards so never even heard of them before.
