Disappointed by my trip

Okay, I'm not disappointed by my trip as a whole, but I'm totally bummed to have missed out on my long-awaited anniversary dinner at Boma. We had a lovely stay in a savanna room at AKL, with lots of great animal sightings, but my daughter came down with a fever, which turned out to be from an ear infection we thought was gone, so we left a day early— mere hours before our Boma PS. We've never eaten there before, but I've been salivating over the menu for months, so I'm really disappointed to have missed it.

Just think of it as another reason to go back.

So sorry to hear about this. We, too, had our 10th anniversary dinner cancelled (at Bistro de Paris) because of unforseen circumstances.

However, now we have a great reason to go back for a future anniversary!

I'm so sorry this happened to you. As much as we plan, there are some things that are just beyond our control. But even though we know that, it really stinks when things like this happen...

I hope you can start planning your next WDW trip soon. Boma will be there when you get back!!

Yes, Boma is phenomenal. You must try it on your next visit. Start planning now, to give you something fun to look forward to! Sorry that happened, hope your kiddie is feeling better now!

if it's any consolation, we missed our much anticipated date night at boma when we were in wdw also... hurricane frances came along and caused the kids' club to be closed and transportation to be suspended, and all guests confined to quarters, so we were stuck at pop century dreaming of all the delectable offerings i have read about while eating our pb&j sandwiches from the cooler... sigh...

We have had to cancel Boma on at least two occasions. Starting to wonder of I will ever get there. But I'm determined that one day we will make it and it will be worth the wait. Sorry that your daughter was sick, hope everything is ok now. Just keep planning to get there and one day it will happen.
