Disappointed...but I have a question.

Dbf and I were hopeing to go to WDW from 12/9-12/12 of this year. I thought that would be a great weekend - light crowd, nice weather etc - but for reasons beyond our control, we can not go that weekend. We are now turning our sights to November 25th through the 28th. BEing that this is the weekend after thanksgiving, are we in for MEGA crowds? I've been down there in the middle of August - are crowds like that or are they bigger? And what about MVMCP? Will that be a mob scene on the 27th?

We really want to go and I know that our vacation will only be what we want it to be and crowds can only bother us if we let them, but I am just hoping to get an idea before I go ahead and book.

we always go to the first MVMCP of the year, so I can't help you with that. but we always do the weekends between Thanksgiving and Xmas. it seems like the slowest time of the year.

Friday may still be a bit busy, but most folks leave/travel on Friday or Saturday, so Sat and Sun will be fine in the parks.

oops. I misread. the weekend AFTER Thanksgiving weekend is great. Thanksgiving weekend, we don't go near O-Town. normally, after Thanksgiving up to Xmas is slow.

LAst year we flew in on Thanksgiving day for 10 days. Each day the crowds got a little lighter, but I still think it is alot better than when we go aroung July4th. Go with "it will be crowded" attitude, and than be surprised when its not too bad. The trick as always with summer travel, go early!!

You can still be ok if you are willing to arrive early use Fast Pass and understand that because of crowds you are not going to do and see everything.This can be a exciting time to visit with the holiday decorations going up and a great holiday spirit sort of flowing through parks,guests and CM'S.
