Just had to tell you all I got a letter today from the Church School (our first choice secondary) to say they are offering Jessica a place I've finally come down from the ceiling and finished phoning everyone and had to tell my peeps I am so relieved we now don't have to go to any appeals which means no stress

I want to cry! I have no idea what I'm doing!

I have all this stuff typed out and have no clue if I'm even on the right track.

Yes, it was a youth conference so most of the meetings were at oneighty. Their new youth pastor is great! Blaine Bartel did some good sessions too. A oneighty building is my dream!!! How is your head?

wooHOOTY HOw exciting!! I love it when prayers are answered, that match what we want!! I've been trying to teach dd that we have to be grateful for all miracles... and she looked at me while we walked around waiting for our broken car... and I just started listing the "miracles" It was a miracle the engine didnt freeze up, it was a miracle we didnt need to be towed, it was a miracle that those ladies were at that gas station... etc etc... The bigger questions sometimes baffle me, but I tell dd, it seems its a "lesson I have yet to learn from God"

We're having a nice mother daughter time - but I hate she cant sleep at night, as I dose off, in the bed NeXT to hER - she screams "MOM, dont fall asleep yet!" good grief dd its after midnight... finally she fell asleep around 2ish, and I was awake until 3ish, the tv on the whole night through!! BUT, if that's the worst of it, we'll get thru it!!

Their 180 building is awesome. My head is better today--I actually feel good today. Last night all I took was 2 tylenol and went to bed and woke up much better. My eyes are no longer puffy. I was good yesterday until around noon and then went downhill fast. Have to much to do at church tonight so I can't get another one today.

How does it look for Joshua to start in August? His daycare is asking who is staying or leaving for the summer. We are not going during the summer so I am telling them no to that, but I think I have to let then know about the Fall. No hurry!

I can't wait to see your pretty numbers! I hope I have some pretty ones to share too! I'm getting a little nervous though. I want a bigger number to report than last week's 1 lb. One is great. I just feel like I need a multiple-pound number this week to up my motivation. I would love to hit 25 and get a new ribbon, but we'll see. I have been walking Jasper for 35-40 minutes each evening, up from 30-35 last week. (I skipped Saturday to rest my body.) If I don't get a bigger number this week, I'm tempted to put a new battery in my scale. (It's not even 4 months old! )

Well, I just helped play a massive joke on a vacationing friend from the Open Mike thread. We play jokes on each other so when they come back, there's some practical joke waiting for them.

Somehow me, Twinkie and HaleyB (remember her?) convinced nearly an entire thread of peeps to get new user names!!!!!!

Then, alot of us with our new user names, went over to the games threads and racked up our post counts. We all got new avatars, siggies, and even sparkley bling names! Several of us had well over 600 posts by the time the jokee got back!!!!!!!

This is a very detailed joke. Elaborate hoax even! We had some that didn't change their name just to play along like there's nothing out of the ordinary.

There were over a dozen new users on this person's "home-thread" when he got back! ALL of them had cracker names! I was CheeseNips!

I am soooooo far behind due to all of the cracker shenanigans on the Open Mike thread that I may just have to jump back in without reading back 20 pages!

I do have to admit that I was also very frustrated with my lack of weight loss the last couple weeks, especially after adding in exercise almost daily since getting the recumbent exercise bike. However, I FINALLY turned the corner today.

I also want to say hi to the Peeps and let you know that I think about you daily.

I have only read the last couple pages and must mention to Eeyore what a beautiful wedding prayer that is.

And: Wonders, YOU CAN DO IT!

I'm going to try to get back into it tomorrow. And knowing me, I'll probably have to at least skim the pages I've missed

hey, guys! my hearing today got cut short so i got off early and actually got to eat lunch at home today. i decided to try something new and it was really good....just thought i'd share:

1 can chunk light tuna
2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
green onions
whole wheat tortilla
seasoning salt

i took the tuna and kind of smashed it up with a fork, then added the BBQ sauce and cheese. then i cut up a few green onions and mixed those in (green onions with BBQ sauce is one of the best flavor combinations IMO). then i added just a little bit of seasoning salt to give it some flavor. i then took the whole wheat tortilla and i put it on a skillet that i had sprayed some olive oil onto (not much...just enough to make sure the tortilla didn't stick). i put about half the tuna mixture on the tortilla, folded it over and squished it with a spatula. i let it cook until the cheese was melted and the outside of the tortilla was just a little bit brown. then i cut it into slices and i ate the sucker! and to my surprise, it was really good! AND only (about) 270 calories!!!!

i saved the other half of my tuna mixture in the fridge and i'm going to eat that with crackers later today for a snack. FYI - half the tuna mixture without the tortilla is 130 calories.

i love discovering foods that aren't horrible for you and actually taste good!
