Sorry everyone for taking so long. I got back from my apt. Waited for the last child to be picked up.

Made my kids dinner so they could make it to soccer practice.

Took Malorie with me to get my hair cut. I go to a friends house who does it out of her house and it's a 30 minute drive each way and she wasn't home!!!! NOOOOOOO! Came back home and wasn't feeling that great, but I'm better now. I think it was the extra 40 ounces of water I had to drink for the ultrasound. Makes everything work if you know what I mean.

The apt went from 3:30-4:40. I had to have pictures re done per the radiologist on the phone. Emptied my bladder 3 times!

They are sending me downtown to have some pictures re taken because the radiologist/dr. whoever was reading the pictures "didn't like how some of them read"???

What's that supposed to mean? The tech who I know is not supposed to say anything about the good/bad of the ultrasound said, don't think you have to have these pictures redone because there is something wrong with the baby, they are ordering this because they don't like how this machine is showing the pictures. I have to go down town in 2 weeks. I have to wait two weeks to know if everything is ok............prayers ladies please. I going to go nuts.

That being said, we are having another cute little baby !!!!!!!!!

Anybody planning on going to a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Release Party July 21??

I'm seriously considering it, altho we have to pay "rack rate" for the book, in previous years I"ve gotten it at walMart or Target much cheaper than list price - and the stores open way early just for this!!

DD and I discuss the will she/wont she aspect of JK killing off Harry - highly likely imho - since it would mirror what his mother did to save Harry, Harry would do it to save his friends - and we know JK wrote the last chapter when she wrote her first chapter... she killed Dumbledore - she'll kill Harry... and just think what all the millions of children will do? BUT it will effectively end the series...

again, just pure and complete speculation... lots of debate, discussion around here, I was curious about anyone else!

Sandy.....DD17 always goes to the release parties. She went last time with DBF to the BIG party at the BIG bookstore.....then went to the Meijer store next door for the book at midnight. Anyway....I'm with you....I think it's highly likely that Harry will get finished off in the last book....which would be so sad in my opinion. I always like to see good win over evil. If Harry goes down I hope "he who cannot be named" will go down with him.

So....I finally went to the ENT Dr. today about a ringing in my ear...feels like it's full of cotton. Turns out I have mild to serious hearing loss in that ear. (Depends on the fequency level as to what I can hear.) Anyway, I have to go for an MRI on Monday to rule out a benign growth on my auditory nerve. Other than that, the hearing loss has probably been caused by a virus and nothing can be done....short of a hearing aid which can restore my hearing to nearly 100%.

Prayer Request....no benign growth. Thanks!

OK, first - I don't want Harry to die!!!!!!!!!! I know it is highly likely, but I cried like a baby at the end of the last book! I am VERY anxious for the book to come out though! I can't wait! I don't know about any release party yet though. I'm not sure what we will be doing.

Not only do we share similiar b-days we are close in weight! (Is that good or bad? ) I am 5'3 as well and currently close to your weight so I feel your pain. My dad says I am skinny but we all know parents are supposed to say that! I know what I used to weigh and how much I have gained. Plus, like you said, I haven't even had kids yet!! I would like to get the weight off now before all that craziness. Anyway, just wanted to let you know you have a kindred spirit over here.

my family does the same thing. i come from a southern family where all the food was made with fat back, a stick of butter and lots of love! so needless to say, my entire family (minus my brother and sister) are "big". not obese, but just big. anyway, i've NEVER been skinny. i've always been average, i've always had enough meat on my bones. and now i have more than i need! but my grandmother still, to this day, says to me when she hugs me, "you're so skinny. one day a strong wind is just gonna come along and blow you away!"

HAd another migraine last night that pur me in the bed, Hopefully this is over.

I found that my prenat vitamins were causing my migrains two pregnancies ago. I break them in half and take an extra 400 mgs of folic acid to make up for that loss.

The iron is too much for me to handle in the vitamins.

I had a few though the last two weeks. I make sure I'm drinking my water, and if the pain starts in the base of my neck I use heated wet rags from the microwave and place them around my face and neck. Sometimes that helps almost instantly. If the pain is in my temples I use ice packs. Tylenol does nothing for me when it comes to headaches. So I try to use natural stuff. Even a half glass of very cold coke helps.

I feel for you I really do.

She is from California, so she sent Stanley here for her 7 year old daughter's class project, so we took him some places in NY and then brought him to WDW and MNSSHP. We have some great pics. I'm hoping for healthy I think if they were worried they would have had you get another ultra sound immediately. They would not wait two weeks!

We are only doing Disney, at least 90% of the time anyway, so I really felt like staying onsite was the best.

Tell her your Mom gave you money, tell her it is for your birthday, tell her you got a code... do whatever it takes to STAY ON SITE! I being onsite. I'll stay off-site the first night we arrive in Orlando... but that's it! And I have been known to pay the $ to get my way, too.

My BIL swallowed a ball bearing as a child and the Dr said to leave it if it wasn't hurting, well a few days later it nearly broke the toilet pan and everyone knew it had passed through

I didn't really change to much. I added a little more exercise and went down on my WW points, but mostly I just hung on. I also prepared myself mentally. In the past I always hit a plateau at 30lbs. I have never been able to stick with it. So when I started this time I promised myself that I would not quit. When I got though that first plateau I knew I could do this, even knowing I would hit other plateaus.

I'm a little embarassed to say this, but when I first saw this picture I looked at Mary Tood Lincoln and thought "how cool, she decided to dress in period style clothing for her trip!" I can be a real doofus sometimes.

You got it! DD gave me this weird virus last summer (she almost missed HS graduation with it). I had 100+ temp for two weeks that would go up to 104. My ears rang for a month or two and everything sounded muffled. It was really wacky... I remember going to Rosa's Tortilla Factory and not being able to hear the conversations well but the ice falling into the glasses being REALLY loud... and then at Costco, all I could hear was shopping baskets banging into each other. Mine got better over time... praying and hoping your's is similar.

I am feeling down lately,..

I woke up with a severe headache again.

Ok, Peeps I need some more advice. Although this is fun advice.

We stayed at the HOJO east for a couple of nights last summer at the beginning of our trip. There was a big old cockroach in our room on the first night, so I wouldn't let the family have any food in the room, and I barely slept because I thought one would crawl into one of my orifices (that's the holes in your body). Also, there were some very noisy groups in the parking lot, right outside our door. Tell your friend that, and see if it helps.

That would fit if they died together, since they are so closely linked-e.g. the feather in their wands, being parsel-tongues, etc. Still, I'll be very disappointed if Harry dies. I always think that's a heartless thing for an author to do to her hero.

I feel for you on the hearing loss. When my eardrum ruptured the beginning of February, it felt like it took forever for the ringing to stop. I bought some generic tylenol at Costco a couple of weeks ago. there's a picture like the smiley on the bottle. DD was getting ready to take the SATs, and looked at the bottle closely. She said she was disappointed because she thought they were smart pills from the picture, and it was only when she read the label that she found it was for headaches. Too bad there's no magic pill for smart! I know a lot of people I'd be handing it out to.
