Has anyone ever gone to WDW like 4 times, and then went to Disneyland and been disappointed in Disneyland? Because this summer i will be going to Disneyland for the first time and i really hope i dont hate it, having been to WDW 4 times

Well sorta. I've been to WDW 3 times before going to land and my mom told me what to expect becuase it was alot smaller. But one of my favorite rides was the matterhorn which is a neat roller coaster thing. The park can be done in 1 day but we did it over 2 to go on thing twice or do things we liked again.

Went to Disneyland in 2000, and WDW in 2003. Disneyland is just one park, remember that, but remember it does have the Disney magic. Enjoy the differences, but don't try to compare apples and oranges. WDW is huge, four parks. Disneyland has its own charm. Enjoy Matterhorn, Indiana Jones ride, the differences in the Fantasmic show, etc. I think Space Mountain will be closed for a long time, but it is a totally different ride than WDW. Same with Pirates of Carribean. Just go and enjoy it and remember that that is where Walt's dream began.

I've never been to Disneyland, but after having been to WDW 8 times, I'm afraid that if I go to DL, I will be disappointed. I mean, I would like to see the original, but there is just so much more at WDW...

Well I've only ever been to WDW so I can't really compare. But I guess you just have to remember that DL is just one park but i'm sure its just as good as MK. :Pinkbounc

i went to Disneyland after going to disney every year since i was 6 at least once a year and i went to Disneyland when i turned 11 i was there on my Birthday it was ok we took a tour thing that brought us behind the sences and u have to do that cuz u learn alot and its acually not boring like i thought it would be but if u do go to Disney land u have to go to CAlifornia Adventure too cuz that is awsome

Theres actually two parks though, California Adventure. But still i would have much rather went to WDW. But a change of scenery might be good, plus mive always wanted to go to California.

I went to WDW 6 times before going to Disneyland in summer of '02. DL is a lot smaller then WDW. There are some really cool rides that they don't have in WDW, like the Indiana Jones Adventure (awesom ride!). Also, you have to go to California Adventure. Some of the good rides there are: California Screamin' and Soarin' Over Cali. Yes, I was little bit disappointed in the size and also in the fact that there wasn't as much to do there, but that doesn't mean that I didn't have fun. I was glad that i was able to see what the other park is like, and it was a lot of fun.

I've never been there, but I'm going to WDW #8 time in May! The key to not being disappointed is not getting your hopes up, but I'm sure you'll love it anyway. Try going and finding out more about it. Then you'll know more what to expect.:) :sunny: ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

I've never been to WDL but I have been to WDW about 8 times so I won't be fair. I would like WDW if WDL offered me a mantion (well maybe not if they offered a mantion:hyper: ). Also, WDW is actually different than WDl not the other way around because WDL was the original.
HAVE FUN!

here is an example of the differences:
