XL is the size I would normally buy any place. I like my clothes to fit for layering and no tightness in the shoulders. I could probably wear the L, and it would look ok, it just wouldn't feel as comfortable to me. I do not dry things like this in the dryer :laundy: so I don't have to account for shrinkage. Too bad you couldn't just try mine on before ordering yours! :goodvibes

My DAP apparel came yesterday and it all looks great! I ordered a Large pink hoodie and I think it fits more like a Medium. I am an average sized person and I almost wish I'd ordered XL (I do like sweatshirts to fit "big"). Depending on how you like things to fit, I would recommend ordering at least 1, if not 2, sizes up on the hoodie.

My Medium T-shirt, OTOH, seems larger than my Large hoodie, and I'm happy with that.

Can't wait to see everyone all decked out!

Perhaps did you order the Jr. Hoodie and not the women's hoodie? I just placed my order yesterday or was it the day before?? :cutie:

If you haven't ordered your DAP merchandise yet -- Critical Cafe Press crewneck sweatshirt WARNING!!!!

They apparently run HUGE.

I ordered an XL, which is what I always do with sweatshirts because I like for them to be big and rooomie/comfy. This thing is so huge that Phillip and I could both fit into it at the same time. (No comments from the peanut gallery on that please - yeah right.)

I'm going to wash it in hot water and dry the heck out of it on high, but have a feeling that I'll still be swimming in it.

Oh, I didn't see this discussion over here before I posted my sizing issues thread. I ordered a DAP t-shirt (regular --- not the ladies kind) and a DIS Unplugged hoodie. They are both enormous. I am looking into the return policy now. I think I'd have to pay for shipping. Grr.

I had no luck shrinking my sweatshirt. I'll probably wear it around the house, but definitely not at DAP. I'm considering caving and buying the pink ladies' hoodie you all found after I made my order.

How long did it take you guys to get your stuff after you ordered? I was waiting one more week but I want to make sure I get it on time.

My deliveries have been unbelievably fast - 3-4 days from day of order to receiving. And that's just with their economy ship - nothing special or extra

Cool, thanks for this info. That is a load off my mind. Hate to order and they get here after the event.

Mine took 4 days.
Here's the low down on my order:
*Women's pink zip up small(NOT jrs!): true to size
*Women's v-neck 2 side logo small: true to size
*Children's one side logo t-shirt: it's a little big for a medium
*Children's one side hoody pullover: --the site says it runs small and order a size up. I ordered a medium and it fits a good "grow into, you can wear it for a while w/o being huge" size.
*Men's one-sided t-shirt size small: it's a slim t-shirt (it fits DS, but I know he would have liked it bigger)
*Men's pullover hoodie size M: it's gangster big on DS (it looks good, but I'm sure DH could have fit in this no problem. DS is an adult small)

So now I need to save my pennies after this little shopping spree to drink around the world!

I hope this helps out those who haven't ordered.

So I am going to cave and order again from Cafe Press. Could someone give me the final low down on the pink hoodie regarding sizing? If I normally wear a large sweatshirt/hoodie, what do I order? The ladies pink large or XL?

I haven't gotten mine yet. I ordered the XXL pink hoodie, being the Pooh sized lady that I am. If I get it tomorrow, I will let you know how it fits.

You are looking at the zip hoodie, right? If yes, make sure that you order the "women's" and not the "jr.s". I feel that mine is true to size. It is more fitted than say a Hanes zip up that you'd buy at WalMart, but not tight like a jr.s would be. I also don't plan on drying mine all the way all the time. I hope that helps.:cutie:

UPDATE: Cafe Press got back to me within a few hours of sending the return form. They are sending me a new hoodie in a smaller size free of charge and said to keep the other. I am very impressed with their customer service!!

Wow! That's awesome!

Oh good grief! I was only going to order t-shirts until you all told me about the pink sweatshirt. So then if I get a sweatshirt, well then the boys will want one, too. (If you give a mouse a cookie....") So we all got t-shirts and sweatshirts and I even found a cute Special Forces holiday t-shirt, too. No more going back there!!

Thanks, Corey! Very cool stuff!

I know what you mean, my order was over $230.

I didn't think you were ordering the pink hoodie?
