Just wondering what others see as a disadvantage of this classification.

Lack of direct access to a quiet pool?

What else?

i'd be worried about more bus noise and more traffic in general (as that's where i'd park when i'm checking in.)

but i haven't stayed in the HH area so others would know better.

It depends on where your room is. We've done HH twice. Building #25 was wonderful. Building #14.....hated it.....bus noise and view from our villa was not good.

I forgot to mention, I have stayed there before, just can't see what the disadvantages would be.

Yes, more general traffic could be an issue for sure but I don't know if I would list busses since you could be put in any number of other buildings that are just as close to a bus turnaround or stop.

I didn't think #25 was a HH building. I thought it was 11-14 only?

We stayed in #11 on the ground floor and had a wonderful view of bushes.

Yep, unless things have recently changed......buildings 11 - 14 and 23 - 26 are in the near HH category, and I believe 15, 16, and the 60s buildings are sometimes used for near HH.

11 to 14 can have parking problems if the main lot is filled. I had to park in front of 14 one time because there were no spaces to check-in.

Any building close to HH will have more activity and traffic noise. We just stayed in building 25, (HH) and didn't hear any traffic at all.

We stayed in 13,and the congestion in the area was my complaint. I don't see much disadvantage at all in 23-26.

Nope, not 15 or 16 and not 62, 63 and 64.

I'd agree with traffic (especially trying to cross the street, even with the crosswalk), noise and difficulty parking, especially for 11 to 14 (maybe not so much with 23-26).

We were in room 2626 a few weeks ago (a studio.) It was right next to the bus stop and very convenient. Surprisingly I didn't notice noise from the bus traffic, but I did hear some sort of very loud construction noise each morning (before 7AM.) No idea what it was, but it was very loud.

We were 1330 (top floor)... Love, loved, LOVED it...very convenient, didn't see much traffic coming across to the bus stop...would get off at Pennisula road and walk back at night...except one treat, the bus stopped at HH first from the MK. Close to walk and get some decaf coffee each AM (note to self, put in owners locker). The ONLY bldg I didn't want in the HH category was 14 'cause I was afraid of the bus notice if we got the side that faced the road. We ask for top floor, golf course view...perfect! Except for dodging Debby all week!

We've noticed no real disadvantages and we stay there more often than not. We typically don't have a car, so no parking issues. Bus noises? Not so much.

I may be wrong about this. Aren't they some of the first buildings constructed? I think they have the laundry room that does NOT connect to the bathroom (at least in the one bedroom unit). I see that as a disadvantage. If more than two persons are in the room, people have to go through the master bedroom to get to the bathroom.

Yep, you are correct. But that's not just HH area villas. That's all villas up to bldg 30.

For us the disadvantage is not having the second door to the bathroom. Other than that, I don't find them any more advantageous or disadvantageous.

I didn't realize that about the bathroom. We have HH booked, 1 bedroom with 5. Where would we need to request to have a different bathroom access layout and what are our chances of getting it?

Currently our request is high floor marina view

Turtle Pond or South Point.

We were right next to the bridge in building 23 and I was disappointed that there was so much traffic noise on the bridge and loud music from the main pool. I like to read quietly on the balcony but couldn't. It was a very convenient location, however.
