I'm getting ready to start working from home. And I will be receiving phone calls so I need to have my call waiting turned off.
I know *70 will disable it on a per call basis. But once that particular call is over Call waiting automatically resumes.
I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can disable call waiting and have it remain off until I physically turn it back on?
Or, will I just have to call the phone company to have them permanently disable it? I don't use it anyway. In fact I hardly EVER use the land line but I will be starting too. I just need to be able to turn this call waiting off.
