Disabled Priority Card question

I think I can see where you're coming from Lilacgems. It does seem odd that they give an easypass to accompany/assist you, but if your children are very young, then it's not really feasible to go on with the only other adult in the party. Therefore you're not really being 'assisted'.

I agree pregnancy is not a disability, but as Elaine says, DLP do offer some help with this. I went to dlp when pg with lewis and didn't know about an easypass. I was happy to sit out most of the rides and soak up the atmosphere.

I'm sure that no-one would want to have anyone in their family disabled just for the sake of a pass on a ride  I think Lilacgems was just giving her experience about the numbers of people who could accompany etc on this type of pass and actually maybe not really worthwhile on this occasion.

Thankyou, I'm glad someone understands what I was trying to say :thumbsup2

I don't have any experience of the easypass (or whatever it's called these days) but can see everyone's point of view.

I think it's wonderful that DLP recognise that it can be difficult doing certain things when pregnant and offer the pregnancy pass (sorry, I'll call it that for want of a better word) but I also appreciate that it wouldn't/shouldn't be as extensive as an easypass for someone who has a physical/mental disability as unlike pregnancy this isn't a condition of choice.

It's obvious that your experience with the easypass wasn't a positive one lilacgems which was unfortunate but hopefully you are in the minority and the majority of people who use it do find it helpful to them.
