Disability Accomodation

WDW's standard response to someone who requests a DAS indicating an inability to sit or stand for periods of time is to use a mobility device that allows freedom to alternate pushing and sitting, so neither activity occurs for any length of time and the user has control over both activities. Most queues are slow moving as opposed to an absolute stand-still. As a reminder, the accommodation offered does not have to be the preferred accommodation.

If PP explained her needs and was granted a DAS, obviously something about her specific needs indicated to the Guest Relations CM that a DAS was appropriate at that time. If that doesn't stand for future visits, the DAS won't be renewed. None of us on this board can determine that. We do ask that nobody post detailed "scripts" indicating how to phrase a DAS request. Each person must use his/her own words to explain their personal needs.

As per post #17, it appears the OP is fine with the suggestion of pushing a wheelchair or rollator and sitting when needing a break. Therefore, I'm going to close this thread which has degraded into an argument.
