Disability Access Return Times FP+

Hello,

Our trip is a week out and I thought I was all set......but when I signed in to MDE I see "Disability Access Return Times"

Have they changed the procedure again? We were there in December and were given a card with my sons photo on it that we had filled out at each ride que. I am really hoping someone can give me some guidance here?

it is the same but on the magic band you still go to GS tell them why you need a DAS card they scan your sons magic band take his picture then every one with him will need to be linked or have there magic band scanned you go to the ride and the CM there will scan a magic band they will tell you when to come back you can also look at the MDE you come back the person with the DAS will need to go first the Mickey will turn blue the CM will do something and then the rest of your party will go.

Thank you. So nothing needs to be done in advance? The whole travel party will not be present for the first few days of the trip.....will they just add them at GS when they arrive?

yes nothing to do before your trip yes you can add them latter the DAS is good for 60 days now so you can add a new person 59 days latter. I do not think you can have more then 6 people on it as they have to link people at the rides who are going on the ride. I do not know why your son uses a DAS but the Mickey will turn blue at first and the CM may ask him to touch it again ( I have had to day it is a DAS as sometime they tell me I have no fast pass) some times the reader to get the DAS is not working so they give you a paper return time ( space mountain for me is one that ever works)

We used it in May and found it to be much better then using the card was. As was mentioned, there were some glitches where the device used to assign to DAS Return Time didn't work, but the CMs were prepared to work around that.
