Well here we are again group, hope you are all well and have had a great dieting weekend.

Does anyone have anything special this week going on that might cause a problem with sticking to your diet? How do you manage if you have a birthday meal or party coming up? Give us your tips for going out and enjoying yourself but still trying to be good.:thumbsup2

Well done to all the losers and sts from last week and if you did gain a little, dont get downheated, put a line under it and move on to a brand new week and keep at it:goodvibes

Good Luck for the week everyone, look forward to your updates:goodvibes:goodvibes

Kind of disappointed this week, only lost 0.4 kilos:guilty: (just under a pound). Will be stepping up the exercise, had a very quiet week last week.

Nothing special going on this week, but when I have something planned I drop the calorie allowance for a couple of days before the event and the day after. If its something unexpected then I (hopefully) step up the exercise and and watch what I'm doing with the count for the remainder of the week. If I stick or gain then I start again. It helps to be honest with everything you eat, the Fitness Pal app has some awful details listed over Christmas!:rotfl:

I've had a bad cold this week and have been off my food but managed to scrape a 1 lb loss (if I get on the scales and lean in the right direction!) Only goes to show that you need to eat enough to lose weight.

Thanks for all the support last week when I stayed the same. However, just to be contrary (my Dad used to call me Contrary Mary), I didn't lose vast amounts this week to compensate. However, I did lose 1 lb, so I'm happy with that. I need to get my finger out though, as its only just over 6 weeks til we go to New York and I still need to lose 11lbs!

Pam

I've been a coward so far this week and avoided the scales. I think I need to stand on them in the morning to ***** the damage...
Monday was my dads Birthday so we headed out to Frankie and Bennys and I baked him a chocolate bar covered cake and I'm one of those people that rarely eats out and as such tend to make the most of it when I do.... oppppssss!
Last night was our riding club AGM and another meal out (Pork Cob and chips) and we're still eating chocolate cake this evening. I think I'm all caked out now though and although I'm heading to the pub tomorrow night for the weekly quiz (our team won last week so get to eat for free this week) I will be sticking to a salad. I feel bloated, fat and disappointed in myself for not having the will power to let others eat all the cake!

Hope everyone else is having a good week! :)

Dont worry Stacy, we all have weeks like that and you have had a lot going on this past week, get on those scales, see the damage (if anything at all) draw a line under it and start again for the next week. Good Luck for the next week:thumbsup2

Morning all

I'm really pleased to report another 2lb loss last night at Slimming World. :cool1::cool1: Really surprised to be honest as I didn't have a great Sunday but very happy. My total loss in 8 weeks now is 1 stone-8.5lbs, and Ive never felt better.

I'm having my hair cut quite short next week and picking up my new glasses on the weekend, Im also giving contact lenses another trail as I use to wear them years ago but gave up. :thumbsup2

I'm still 12lb away from my target and I know its going to get harder but right now I'm really enjoying fitting into clothes I haven't been able to wear for a long time:goodvibes

So I was brave, 2 lb on but it was expected! There is still half a cake left, look away now if you get cake envy...

I'm avoiding it now though, I'm all caked out, dad will just have to eat it on his own! I'll be having a nice soup for lunch and have already picked out my salad from the menu this evening.
Me and the BF are off to the Harry Potter Studios in 2 weeks time so I'd like to shift those 2lb again by then :cheer2:

Well done on this weeks loss, you're doing fantastic! You'll be at target before you know it!
You've also reminded me that I need to go and choose my next pair of glasses, I started wearing contact lenses last year and get a free pair with my contacts, I just need to go and pick them out!

2 lb is a managable gain; you'll lose it very quickly - I think I've put on that much just looking at the photo of the cake! I hope you enjoy the Studio Tour as much as I did. :wizard:
