So, my calculations show that, if this trip is on the earliest part of the mentioned spectrum (i.e., early September), we have less than a year to figure out how to pay for it before the total is due. That's cutting it close, but we can do this people!

I figure I'll give up food - that way I'll save the $$$ plus I'll have that nice drawn look the French are so famous for

Oh, my, how will you get around this one:

For starters, don't ever, even in the sweltering dog days of summer, think about wearing a pair of shorts in Paris unless you really want to be treated like a hapless tourist.

I can't recall when I have ever met the "clean, coordinated look" standard.

I am all over this! Never been to Paris but have been fortunate to have gone to London 3 times. London would be worth the trip by itself....so much to do and see there and so easy to get around!
