Why is this show about 75% NOT about Disneyland? It gets tedious listening to all the non Disneyland related chit chat. I feel like it needs more focus or something. Otherwise, maybe it should be renamed the "California Edition."

Just some feedback.

Each week there are two shows. Disneyland news and a segment. The segment varies. I am confused as to why you think this show isn't about Disneyland. The WDW show isn't always about WDW either.

7/10 - Disneyland news and Listener questions segment
7/3 - Disneyland news and summer of heroes food
6/26 - Disneyland News and Disneyland after the D23 expo
6/19 - Disneyland News and D23 expo info and tips

I am just confused where you are coming from.

I mean, they do cover Knott's Berry Farm and a little on Universal Hollywood - but they don't have a separate show for Universal like the Florida group does so they sort of have to cover everything. But I think there is a lot about Disneyland - especially when you factor in all the history stuff from Micheal Bowling

I just find all the discussion around local news and events that isn't really related to Disneyland to be too much. It wasn't until maybe 20 minutes in this week that they started actually talking about Disneyland related stuff.

I think it speaks the the differing natures of the two resorts. Disney World is a more encompassing, tourist experience while Disneyland tends to be patronized by mostly locals and CA residents. Also, a lot of tourists to Disneyland end up going to other Southern CA venues. I like to listen to the Disneyland edition and pretend I'm a SoCal native (all the while paying Texas taxes :P).

I personally love all the chat and wouldn't want to see that removed. Then again, I'm not even from the US so when I plan my next Disneyland trip we will be wanting to go lots of other places in the area too so, for me, it is all relevant.
