DIS stroller- has it been found?

I was just wondering,,was the stroller left behind by the last user,,or did someone take the stroller? There are soooooooooooo many left not attended all over the parks, while people are on rides,,i was just wondering if someone stole it...or it was just left.... I hope the book shows up at least..I cant imagine someone keeping something they know must be special to the owner,and means nothing to them....

it was at magic kingdom near the busses right next to a garbage can. I remember saying to my DH that it looked like a perfectly good stroller that someone was getting rid of. Was mainly blue with other colors with like a confetti design on it? Gosh I wish I knew it was the DIS stroller I would have taken it under my wing.

We asked a POP cast member a few years ago that we were going to leave our stroller and if they could dispose of it for us. It wasn't folding easily and we had another at home. ANyway he told us they take them and recycle them and donate them to needy community families. SO maybe call a resort and see if they still do that. You may be able to at least track down the scrap book. What a shame.

I think I saw that stroller on 9/30 really late at night when we were leaving the halloween party!!!! How long was it missing before that date? I saw a stroller that fits the description (blue with squiggly lines by a trash can on the way to the bus stops... I thought it was odd that a stroller was sitting there empty with no one around it but I didn't even think about it being THIS stroller! I didn't see any stuff in it nor any lime green ribbons on it- but I admit I just looked at it in passing- really didn't pay much attention. If I'd seen lime ribbons on it I probably would have thought more about it being the SS even though I have never participated or read much of these threads.

Do you think they'd throw it away if they found it out there by a trashcan?

There was definiotely nothing on the stroller when we saw it. DH and I had a discussion about it so I would have noticed the bag or a green DIS ribbon. Maybe this stroller was just one that was left behind and not the DIS stroller. But we had seen it too next to the same trashcan.

The stroller was left for a swapper at LTT on 10/2. Unfortunately the swapper never got the stroller.
Again thanks for the kind words. I had lots of DIS angels helping along the way! I need to know when they are going to be at WDW so that I can buy them a or at least a

As someone who benefitted from the stroller swap, I want to thank everyone who coordinated it and kept it going for so long. When I was in WDW in August, it was a great benefit to us. I kept thinking what a great idea it was and I was happy I was able to get in on it.

You must have gotten the stroller shortly after us. I think we turned it back in around August 12th. The stroller was a HUGE help, and we really appreciated being able to use it.

Mom2of2, I again wanted to thank you for all your hard work. I was the lady that drove to your home to return the stroller because the next user couldn't bother to answer their phone to arrange a trade. I saw blue umbrella type stroller with a bunch of lime green ribbons on the handle at the Poly laundry room. I thought it strange as no one came to get it the whole time we were there. I think it had Pooh on it or some other little colorful print on a blue background. It was there on 10/6 and 10/9.

nope, ours wasn't an umbrella stroller and no Pooh. Must have been another DISers stroller
