DIS Sponsorship- anyone else having problems?

I signed up to sponsor June 25. I just got my credit card and indeed I was billed by paypal on that date. I have emailed Pete twice and no response. Just want to know my money went to the right place. Anyone else have this problem?

Well I only signed up at the lowest level- site supporter. The link to it doesn't work anymore so maybe that has something to do with it? Hey I thought if even 1/4 of us gave $19.95 that would be alot of money and I really don't want any perks - just to donate to the site. (although Doc sure deserves a salary!)

I signed up as well back when everyone else did. I am still really not "official" either. My gif was not showing up so I sent an e-mail and one of the tech guys put the gif up for me so that it would say I was a site sponsor, but it is not offically set up yet and I still can't get to the site sponser only forum.

I wouldn't worry about missing anything on the "site sponsor" forum. There is very little posting done there.

I also had problems when I signed up. The gif showed up OK (the next day), but I couldn't access the special Forum. I sent an email to the address in the email that I received acknowledging my sponsorship. Got a very nice email in return from someone named Corey Martin in a day or two and everything was corrected. My advice is to send an email detailing your problem to this address:

support@wdwinfo.com


I'm sure someone will fix the problem for you very soon.

kem330, I signed up the same day as you, and have also emailed twice with no response. Got my credit card bill yesterday, the charge was there for $39.95 or whatever. I'm also a little discouraged, we seem to have gotten "lost" somehow! I hope you have better luck!

After a week with mine not showing up, I emailed tech support and bingo, they fixed it. Joined as a lifetime sponser because I saved more than $149 in one trip with info gained from this board.

I got an email from tech support the week I signed up and they said they'd look into it and also to email Pete. I sent him a copy of that message plus a copy of the paypal report a couple of weeks ago. I haven't seen any logos other than silver so maybe there isn't one for the lower level? I too signed up through Paypal and it has cleared. Still no luck with the banner.

When I signed up last week, I had the same problem but when I e-mailed to get help I got a response suggesting how to fix it. I had not went on to the last screen of the sign up that gave the DIS the info they needed to make it official. You might try another e-mail to tech support.

I had the same experience as Rich. My banner showed up the next day. Still don't have the free coffee mug, or is it a t-shirt now? Has anyone received theirs yet? How long did it take? I signed up 6/26 so maybe there hasn't been enough time to receive it yet.

But I can't sign onto the Sponsers forum :-(

I didn't get no mug or t-shirt either :-(

Oh well, I guess I have enough boards to tornment and enough coffee mugs....a t-shirt would have been nice.

I heard from Paypal confirming my sign-up, and I did get the logo under my name, but no mug or t-shirt. And when do we hear about our email address associated with this site? Actually, I guess other than seeing the sponsor logo under my name, I haven't heard anything.

My logo appeared under my name the same day I signed up - 6/26. Paypal charged my credit card immediately.

I received confirmation that I was now enrolled in DISSavers early last week.

I still get rejected when I try to sign into the sponsor forum. I have sent a couple of emails, but no response yet. I continue to be patient, as I'm really not sure what this forum will be discussing??

Haven't received anything in the mail....but really wasn't aware that I was going to??

I've been a member of this site for years and have been the benefactor of so much excellent information ...every one of our DVC vacations has been enhanced because of the information shared on this site. I just wanted to say thank you by offering our support.

My logo showed up in a short time after signing up. I also was never able to get into the sponser site though.
