I forgot Bergman was CFO for a time, that could give him a bit of an edge over the other 3 internals. I'm thinking they don't want another parks guy after the last experience, and they lean away from both the newbie from Fox and the sports guy. Alan is the last one standing...
Yep. Alan's been my choice for the next Disney CEO if they go with an internal candidate. He has been at Disney since 1996, per his profile on the company website, so I’m hoping he knows (almost) every Eisner trick in the book when he takes charge. I’m also hoping he brings in someone he knows from another major film studio to become his co-CEO, like Walt/Roy O. and Michael Eisner/Frank Wells.

A harbinger for D'Amaro chances, or is just a Wish Upon a Star?

Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D'Amaro to Participate in Q&A Session at Upcoming MoffettNathanson Media Conference

He's the latest in a line of participants from Disney in the last few years.

It’s just a wish. Christine McCarthy participated in this before back in 2022 and 2023.

Tbolts* is another flop after a string of em for the MCU. That is a horrible opening, its half of what BP2 and Thor4 just a couple of years ago
I don't know. Its RT score is surprisingly good. There's a chance it develops legs.

I know it's the first one I've wanted to catch earlier rather than later in a while now.

Could be, but if the typical drop-off happens after the first weekend when the diehard MCU fans show up, it wont beat Cap4. But if it hits around there its still not dire since it's costs were kept in check from what I can tell.

Update: you could be very right, theres nothing to compete for 3 solid weeks until new MI and Stitch drop on 5/23. Will be interesting to watch how it plays out.
