What an idiot! There are several that I recognized as having been posted here. It doesn't look like she stole any of mine, but then again my Disney ones are paper layouts and I've blurred or removed all of the photos of me. I can't believe she would post them there and think she could get away with it. The sad thing is that she is an accountant. I wouldn't want her as my accountant. Very sad. I hope she gets banned.

I know major bad me on posting again... but whoever made that MK parade pic with cindy in front of the castle in her snow globe should go look, I've seen it in the digi thread but can't find out the creator of it, but I remember it cuz it's such an awesome pic.

In the thread over on twopeas, one poster did find one of her layouts of her son that this woman stole. She only stole the first page because the second focused more on the poster's son. Just sick and wrong.

As annoying as they are, I think I might start putting watermarks on my digital layouts to make them unattractive to thieves to steal and pass off as their own.

That is sad that you would have to do that.. Trying to share the joy of your hobby (our hobby)...and to have this happen..

I totally understand.. that would infuriate me too!! Actually does and none of them are my LOs.... but all the hard work, time, effort, creativity.... it needs to be properly credited!!!

she has copies of her acceptance letter to college in her gallery and it has her full name and address, so clearly she isn't too smart, if she is posting that kind of personal information. But then again, she could have stolen that as well.

I doubt she has gone to college, let alone earned a degree in Accounting. The only thing that may be true is that she works at step-dad's car lot (since when is that one word?) and I bet she only answers the phone.

This may be an unpopular thought. (Please, no flames.) I am in no way trying to justify what she did or claim that her actions were okay. But, in a strange-sort-of-way, I rather feel sorry for her. There have to be some severe self-esteem problems there that she has to do this in a desperate cry for attention.

Like Maggie said earlier, I scraplift, too, but I try to give credit to xy. Sometimes I forget exactly who xy is (which makes me feel so much older), but I still try to give a nod in the right direction of the source.

But this isn't scraplifting, it's plagarism. And there was no attempt to give anyone any credit whatsoever. (i.e. "I was inspired by a layout I saw posted here by another pea, but can't locate her name.") In fact, every effort was made to claim this work as her own, kids and all. (Pay no attention to the 2005 on the castle, this is from my 2002 vacation.)

It just makes me wonder, what else is going on in her life that she would feel the need to seek attention in this way. She had to have known she'd get some sort of reaction when she posted other peas' work as her own in the same peas' message board. She obviously doesn't feel confident in her own scrapping ability.

I haven't read the thread on Peas since this morning. But someone had brought up that maybe it wasn't even her. That someone else was doing it to her. Has it been cleared up that it was her doing it?

Those very bad tags that are associated with the stolen LO, did she put them there or can anyone put tags on a LO?

Nothing has been cleared up. And anyone can put tags on LOs.

I wondered the same thing, AWM. I could still be wrong. (It's been known to happen.) The thing that swayed me was the dates. Like claiming it's her 2002 vacation on a 2005 castle. I don't think anyone else could change that, could they? The dates on the other layouts were earlier, too. Could those have been altered as well? And the fact that so many different people have claimed that their work was stolen.
