~DIS Pen Pal Letter Swap~CLOSED No New Sign Ups till possibly June/July

I am starting to match up names, and will send out a few match ups today, with the rest being tomorrow.

Each month I will start a new thread for that months check in, discussion... I will also post the "Topic of the Month" and "Twist" on my first post so that everyone can refer to it.

Just a note-the twist is just an option, and not something you need to do. It is up to you, and your partner so you may discuss it amongst yourself via a pm. The twists will be just fun, and different things to do as in a "project", a "gift", or such to add some fun along with our regular letters.

I'm going to have to bow out of this exchange, as I'm currently having a hard time finding the time to write to my penfriends in Australia and Germany, and it wouldn't be fair to anyone if I couldn't honor the commitment that would be involved in this exchange. Maybe next time. Have a great day!

No problem Trish. If things work out, then I will have another sign up before the 6 months is up for this swap, so it will be around May/June if you are interested in joining us then.

I would be interested if you have an exchange in May/June. The way it stands with my penfriends I was 2 months behind in my letter writing over Christmas, and these were to penfriends that I write to on a regular basis, and just caught up finally today. Maybe by then my time management skills will be better and will be able to participate in the next one as it sounds like alot of fun.

Since I heard back from Trish, I will be closing sign ups, and handing out the rest of the names/info. so that everyone can get busy, and start writing.


Please remember that this is a 6 month committment, and to be on time in sending out your letters. If you will be away during the 6 month period, please let me, and your pen pal know. So that no one worries.

If everything turns out well, and there is enough participation, I will start another round in either May or June, with everyone receiving new pen pals .

To answer your question, this swap is a six month committment. So this is the first round which lasts from Feb. - July. If all goes well, then I will hold another sign up in which everyone will be getting different pen pals.
