Thanks folks! Eight weeks will be Feb 16. Give or take.

At this point Bret gave me the help I needed to get the camera itself to actually take the pictures. Now I need to learn to get it in focus! I do have some test runs that I did before it went SMACK! But you guys know that. Hopefully I'll have it back before I get to that part of my TR. Which I am ancy to start, but I need to finish the other one. I mean I have finished it, I just don't want to post it all in one day. And with Christmas coming the boards are like a ghost town!

I've made two giant pans of lasagna and one of raviolis. Someday I need to learn how not to cook for an army.

I figured that out a couple years after Fran's father died. Although you wouldn't know it from these last two days. I have half ham sitting in my fridge from last night and a 5lb prime rib in the oven now.

I need to put some rice on. I have leftover salmon which I will convert to a rice and salmon salad. The turkey leftovers I can deal with. I've learnt from Alison. Slice them up and freeze.

We went back to my sister's for leftovers tonight. Yay no cooking for me.

We had French Dip sandwiches last night. I still have a bunch of prime rib so I'm gonna make Philly Cheesesteaks for lunch. I had to buy a six pack of mini rolls yesterday for the sandwiches as I was so late to the store that all the individual rolls were sold out.

Tonight we're having crescent dogs for dinner.

It's New Year's Eve here and it's another scorcher of a day. Temperatures are going to be 100F and it's already hot in the house.


I finally got round to seeing SW7 The Force Awakens. It's a definite reboot!
