Ok, my ride is finished, at least for now. I kinda threw something together in about 3-4 hours (including the time it took to make all the mules to buy things! Whew!) There are three rooms and you can start from any of them, but the main starting point is called "River Quest Safari Adventure" (I wanted to call it the Miakodian Riverquest Safariventure, Homestar Runner style, but I can't say Miakodian or 'venture'. I can't even say my own title in my room info!) Whatever. Anyway, I think it's purty cool. So whoever wants to link to mine, let me know and I will give you the teleporter!

I rode the river today several times and it is so much fun.

I have already bought my transporters and as soon as I get a minute or two will buy track and hopefully get hooked up to the DIS network!

It is very creepy looking. It scares me like clowns do. I get the jibblies when I get to that room in the ride! "Jibblie jibblie Ji-ba-lee!"

Ya'll are doing great on this. I hope to join up sometime, not sure when though, not much time to work on a room right now what with all the ho ho ho and mistletoe.. decking halls.. you know all that festive stuff! Had a blast riding it though!!

There are now 13 members and 28 rooms in the Dis Rivers. There is a teleporter from the Dis Special Events Lobby for those who wish to ride and can't find an entry.

I had another hair brained idea this morning, sketched it out on a piece of paper, then started adding and realizing i would need:

176 crates,
71 pieces of straight track,
16 left turns
and 2 more teleporters

so umm... that plan is on hold for a while lol.

But i'll try and get my 4 rooms i do have done into the loop today.

I had a blast riding thru all the rooms tonight..........I thought it would never end. Each room got an Ohhh and an Ahhh and I called in the family to watch. They loved it
So fun and very creative! Big Woot Woot to all involved.

So just let me know (everyone) whether I should use Pirate Cannon Room or Space Mountain Room for the third part. Also tell me if making my ride in three rooms is too much: since it will be connected to the DIS network, should I only use one room?.......

Use both.

Heck, I was planning to put it through all my rooms that are done now:
my first room (althought it not the best) -river done
the water fall room (my best room)-river done
the underwater fountains room - river done
my beach party cook out room - river needs doing
my halloween room -- river needs doing
I want to make a christmas room and add that to river run.

I had been planning a barrel maze through my rooms, and hadn't bought the barrels yet.

Floated down the river tonight and had a blast. Crashed a few times, but still made it through.

Thanks to everyone who put rooms together. I don't have enough credits to get a river going, but maybe after a few more Haunted Mansion games. (gotta love those ghosts).

Lol!!! I am in the same boat as BriarLori!! I am too busy investigating what everyone else is doing with their rivers. Plus I spent a little too much money already on other stuff.
