DIS Ladies Only Trip 2007 WISH!

Sorry haven't posted over here in a couple of weeks!

I have GAINED over 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks! Not doing well at all. Did start back exercising this week and haven't done bad with the eating either. I really believe exercising is the key for me, if I don't exercise I feel like I might as well eat whatever I want. Must remember that everyday I talk myself out of exercising! I can possibly still meet my first goal of losing 35lbs by July 28 if I get serious!!!


I hope everyone else is doing better than me!

Kendra, I haven't exercised in two weeks. Like you, if I exercise, everything else seems to fall in line. When I am on the treadmill, and I see the calories that I am burning, then I don't want to then go and eat.

Will someone kick my **** to the Y please?;)

I had such a bad day yesterday and it was definitely reflected in my eating. I have got to stop this stress eating!
 

So, I may skip the weigh in next week...:blush:

I was right--I skipped weigh in! I need to get back on track. I was doing so well with my patterns. Smoothie for breakfast, sensible dinner...I need exercise. I keep saying with this cold snap I don't have to get out and walk. I have about a dozen sweatshirts! No excuse! Maybe tomorrow...

Go to your gym, take a hike, chase your kids around at the playground, do an exercise tape, whatever you've got, do it! Match me doing it or kick my booty and do it both days! Let's go!

I just wanted to check in here. It's been ages seems like. I haven't even weighed in the last two times!! I just know I am gaining, I can feel it. :sad2:

I hope everyone is doing well. It's so hard. But you all were off to such an awesome start. :yay:

I don't know how often I'll post. It's hard to come on and encourage others to do what I cannot even do myself. :rolleyes: So if you don't see me, that's why.

Beth, Dont worry about encouraging the rest of us. When I come here it's more to get encouragment. It's infecting too! I know that it's rough getting into new habits, especially when you have stress going on. Believe me I know about stress. But just like when you're learning to ride a bike, you gotta pick yourself up off the floor if you fall and get right back on.

WE CAN DO THIS!!! I KNOW IT!!!!

All I know is this. We can all do nothing and be as fat as we are right now for our Ladies Trip (and lives) or we can say to heck with that, I'm going to do something about it. No one is going to go through this without faltering. No one. So don't slide back into complacency. Let's go girls!

sorry...weekends are the days I don't exercise :banana: I do that after work and I'm not working.

I went for a walk on the path Cole and I walked last year. If I could do that a few days a week again, I would be doing good. I actually thought I would try and do it today too but the weather is crap and I think its going to storm.

this week is a bad time for challenges as I am going to WDW next weekend (and Kat is too of course) and I don't watch what I eat or drink when I am there. I'll try walking around Epcot a few times, Epcot is great for that. Staying at Pop Century and they have nice paths out by the lake too.

But I am beginning to be happy with the soup diet. Just from the fit of clothing I believe it is paying off. I was too lazy to weigh in last week but I am probably close to 150 now. My goal was 145. I started the WISH thing with 158 and I had 162 at my endocrinologist visit in January when she told me it was probably my fault and not my bad thyroid's.

So I will put forth a suggestion...make a pot of soup (vegetable or chicken is best I think) and have that for dinner for a week. Make other stuff for the family, or maybe they'd like soup too.

Unfortunately you will have to wash the pot.

I was going to go walking today, but it is windy and rainy out. Looks like I'll be inside today. Unless I go to the mall or something. :confused3
 
I am o.k. with washing the pot but I can't get in the mood for soup during warm weather. Its kind of cool today but my husband made spaghetti last night so we're on with that again for tonight. :sad2:

That being said I think that is a great suggestion for all you ladies still suffering from the extended winter or don't mind soup on an 80 degree day. There was some cabbage soup diet a few year back people were raving about. I like Catherine's options much better.
