Hi! Remember me? I know I have not been here in a while. But, I should be.![]()
I did fine on my 16 day FL trip. I weighed exactly the same when I returned as I did when I left. Now, however, I am up about 2 pounds from there. My husband started back on Atkins this week. I started "being careful" with what I eat. Funny thing is that my husband's starting weight is my goal weight!![]()
Another tailgate tonight. Hope I do better than last week!

Alright ladies, so here's the deal. I have done alot of thinking, consulted a couple of people who I consider to be the level headed and fair type, and just tried to figure out what would be the best way to handle this situation and here's what that ends up being.
The rules were laid out at the beginning of this and everyone who participated, did so willingly, agreeing to the rules. That included weighing in two weeks out of each month, for good or bad. I did try to make the reminder each week on the thread to the best I could. So after doing the above, it really doesn't seem like it would be fair to let the people who did not weigh in faithfully back in to the main prize pot with a month out left in the competition. And while some of the people who have weighed in faithfully may not have lost as much weight as you might expect to win at this point, they did follow the rules as they were laid out and that's what was required. I think all of us who kept trying and kept weighing in deserve recognition as well.
However, no one won the last mini prize pot. And originally, I was thinking about adding it to the main prizes but I think I have a better idea.
What I am going to do is this. Anyone who did not manage to stay on task with weigh ins for the main WISH competition will be eligible to win a portion of a secondary prize pot. It's not going to be big as the main one, but it will be something and I know alot of you have been working hard lately truly deserve to be recognized. Due to the smaller size of it, I am going to award it to the top TWO losers in the consolation group, by weight percentage of course.
I know this is long and I hope it makes sense. I am open to suggestions and whatever anyone might have to say. I tried to make it fair for everyone, and still give a chance to those who have been trying so hard lately. I think this is a win/win for all of us who are all trying to do this together.
So again, if you want back in for the "second chance" WISH, please PM me your weight today!
As a side note, it's crazy how many people dropped out this time when you put in for it whereas last time I supplied the prizes, and they were not nearly as big, and I still had a pretty good size group at the end. Go figure.![]()
