We were at WDW in Feburary 2004 around the same time as you are going. The weather was pretty nice. One day we spent at Blizzard Beach and it was in the higher 80's. But we were lucky because all the other days were not as hot. We always wore Sweat-Shirt till around noon and also needed it in the evenings. And it started to rain on Valentine's Day. So get dressed in layers and you will be find. Also be sure to have a flexible plan and to check the weatherforcast everyday you are there. That's how we ended up at Blizzard Beach on the nicest day during the week. Enjoy!

We will be there February 12 - 17th! Last year we were there during Presidents' Week. It was quite cool in the morning, but always warmed up nicely in the afternoon. You have to be prepared because it can be unpredictable at this time of year.

For us, even if it's cool in Florida, it will be WAY better than home - at the moment, the temperature is 6 degrees here in the Detroit area! BRRRR!

Feb 2003 we could get along with shorts, and on top a teeshirt and sweatshirt together. We ued the pool only once or twice, both times at the hottest time of the day.

Bring your suits. All of the pools are heated. On cool evenings, the steam comes off the water and it is awesome for swimming. Cool, when you get out, but a great time. We were at the Poly last January and had the pool to our selves two nights.

We went Feb. 2002. and thought the weather was perfect. It was in the 70's most of the time. The kids went in the pool during the day.
I would go again at this time in a heartbeat, but can't pull the kids out of school anymore!

Have been twice in Feb. Here's my motto: Bring your bathing suits and your polar fleece. We have used both, both trips!

Last year we went the week after Pres. Day ('04) we had one day in the low 80's, spent that at BB. We had several days in the upper 60's low 70's and we had 2 down right freezing days in the rain @ 50ish! At night it got cold (40's) we wore fleece coats, hats and gloves. People looked at us with envey! It may feel silly packing them but it was worth it!

:D

Watch out for those cold fronts as we have one over us right now. Pretty chilly in Florida this week!!! But, FL weather is quite fickle. Last week it was in the 80s, this week it's in the 50s and 60s--perfect park weather! But it could heat up then too!

Last Feb. it was warm the first part of our trip, but by the last day we were walking around Epcot with gloves, scarves and hats as the wind chills were in the 30s during the DAY!

We always go in February and the weather is usually nice enough to allow swimming for some or all of the trip. In the evenings, it can cool down, but usually only to the point where a sweater and a light jacket are required.

One caveat: although that has been our general experience, when we were there in Feb 2004 (11 - 18), we had a couple mornings where it was 40 degrees and the highs never got above 60. So you need to be prepared for everything!

leaving 2/6/05 returning 2/12/05 bringing shorts, jeans, short sleeves, and polar fleece

Will be in WDW February 10th- 19th. Packing shorts. skirts, tees, jean, sweaters, fleeces..
Basically I am going to try to be prepared for all weather, but will make my final decision about 2-3 days before leaving when I watch the Weather Channel forecast. Ultimately, if I don't pack it, I'll buy it!
Whatever the weather, I'm planning for a great trip!
ENJOY EVERYONE!! :)
