Hi Everyone

A big 'Thank You' to Natalie for keeping the 'Dieting Club' going while I was away. Well done to everyone who has done well over the last few weeks.

Anyway, I'm here to cheer you all up today, after losing 20 lbs for my WDW holiday, I was very brave (and stupid) and ventured on to the scales this morning :scared1: Now before I share my despair with you all, I must admit to you all that 'I HAVE NEVER EATEN SO MUCH IN WDW BEFORE', this year my 2 lovely daughters (one is a teenager, and the other is 12) were constantly hungry, DH and I found ourselves eating snacks all day on top of our normal food. As we did the Disney Cruise first I can safely say that I had put on about 6 lbs before we left that (the food was amazing and always available).

So (drum roll please !!!) I put on 13 lbs

Although I got to 9 st before my hols, realistically I want to be a more reasonable weight, and get down to 9st 5 lbs, which is about 8 lbs to lose. As my next social event is the 'Midlands Dis-Meet' I hope to have lost most of it by then.

Anyway guys, good luck for the coming week, and don't worry about that 1 or 2 lbs that you may have put on - just think of my 13 lbs (by the way it was loads of fun putting it on!!!!)

Hi Mandy

Well it would'nt be a holiday without putting on a few pounds would it. I am sure you will soon shift them.

I did'nt think I had done that well this week, but not bad as I have lost another 2lb, so that's 11lb in 3 weeks.

Good Luck to all the other dis dieters.

Sue

Oh Mandy, doesn't it just make you want to spit?????? So many weeks and so much effort to lose it and then it goes back on in no time at all!!!!! Your heart must have really sunk when you saw that. But it's probably mostly fluid caused by the sudden increase in food and should come off relatively easily!
I lost 2 lbs this week which I was pleased with as I'd convinced myself I hadn't lost much - woke up feeling like a big blob of lard!! So that's 11 lb but in 6 weeks not 3 like you Sue!! Anyway as long as I can lose a pound or two a week it's not so bad. However we've got a wedding reception in a little under 2 weeks so that will no doubt cause havoc as it's an Indian one and will no doubt have 93 courses! Ah well, one has to be polite!!!!! ;)

thanks for that mandy, i know what ive got to aim to beat in september now :rotfl:

well i did well again last week and lost 2lb !! leaving me with only 1lb to go to get to my target of 2 stone
that said i may shift the goalpost a bit and loose a bit more ;) i will have to see how i get on

good luck everyone this week :)

I don;t know what I've lost yet (if anything! I would not be surporised if it was nothing this week to be honest!) as no work today. I will let you know tomorrow.

I've lost just over a stone in 6 weeks which I am absolutely gutted about. When I've done a serious diet (ahem) before I would have normally lost at least 50% more than that by now - it's especially de motivating as I have been going to the gym religiously.

Keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow please!

Mandy - that weight will drop off you, don't worry. If you cant enjoy yourself on holiday, when can you? As long as you had fun, that's all that counts :)

Well done everyone you are all doing really well :)

Welcome back mandy and thanks Natalie for the past 2 weeks. Mandy as long as you had a great holiday that’s fine. You can always start your diet again next week

Congratulations on everyone’s weight loss :Pinkbounc

I lost 1lb this which leaves me to loose 3lb in 10 days  Don't think thats going to happen :rotfl: I'm still really trying but its so slow.

Good luck everyone. Next week is going to be my last week as i'll be eating all the bad things i shouldn't be from the 10th :cheer2:

Now that's just greedy as some of us have only lost 11 lbs in 6 weeks having been swimming every day and are delighted!!! :rotfl: But I know what you mean Karen! Good luck for tomorrow!!! :sunny:

Thanks for your support guys, I certainly don't feel 9st 13lbs like I did way back in February as I still fit into some of my new clothes, so I'm not going to stress about it and hopefully I'll dig my exercise video out next week when the girls go back to school.

Well done Sue, Di and Natalie for your 2 lb losses (good luck Nat with that last 1 lb), and to Michelle for your 1 lb loss. Good luck Karen with your weigh in tomorrow.

Hi everyone

holidays are for enjoying yourself we can worry about the weight for the rest of the year until the next holiday.

I stayed the same this week which is no surprise as i have been eating chinese, chips and pies for most of the week.

Tracy

Well done everyone:sunny: and who cares about a few pounds Mandy, it was well worth it and I always think you can lose "holiday weight" easily, its the weight that accumulates over several years that is so hard to shift!:rotfl2:

I am afraid that I have chickened out of weighing this week, I flatly refused to do it on my anniversary and birthday weekend but I am back on the straight and narrow now and promise to weigh in again next week!;)

I lost 1 pound :)

Frankly I was releived with that, this week ;)

Well done Karen for losing your 1lb, well done Tracy for staying the same and I'm glad you've had a great birthday/anniversary weekend Elaine - we'll let you off for this week and good luck for next week.
