Hi All

I hope that you have all had a good week

Unfortunately I have had a bad week, chocolates and Jaffa Cakes seem to fly into my mouth, and I'm unable to stop them !!! So I was quite surprised to see that I have stayed the same this week

I've only got 2 more weigh-ins to go, so I really must push myself (easier said than done)

So if you have done well (well done) and please give me some tips

Well done for not putting any on - I only have to LOOK at a jaffa cake and I put weight on!!

I lost 1lb this week. Have to admit, I thought the weight would come off faster but at least I'm heading in the right direction. I have asked hubby to try to limit the amount of wine I drink but I know he'll give in if I sulk so there's not much point to that whole project really!! I just need to find the willpower - easier said than done.

Here's to a better week.......I'd better find something to do over the bank holiday that doesn't involve eating or drinking!!!
 
:blush: :blush: :blush: i have a confession to make.....i didn't get weighed this week :blush: :blush: :blush: i had a faily good week but i was broke and decided to save the £5 it cost at WW :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

hopefully i will do well next week, on a plus point this weekend i got into my (skinny) jeans :rotfl: the ones that i have to be thin to wear :rotfl:

Reading back on all the DIS health check-ins over the last few weeks, you've all been doing really well!!!! :teeth:

You'll be surprised to know that I actually came back from WDW a few pounds lighter than when I left!!! Don't know how I managed that, since we ate VERY well there ....... zebra domes, Mickey waffles, pancakes :earseek:

So I really must get back into the awing of things, as there is now only 1 year till my sisters wedding!!!!
 

WOW Cath i hope i come back a few pounds lighter but i think that will prove impossible :goodvibes I have lost 1lb this week, its getting so hard to shift the last 7lbs now. I did have alot of choc this weekend :teeth:

Going shopping on saturday with MIL, getting the last bits for the holiday.

Well done everyone (including Mandy ;) )

Cath, it's the walking that does it isn't it? I always eat like a pig (err, does horse sound more polite?!) and come back lighter :)

I have followed my low fat regime religiously this week - not one calorie of fat has passed my lips and I went to the gym three times for 30-40 minute sessions, staying in "fat burning" mode the whole time.

So I was much surprised (and cross) to have not lost any weight :(

This is the danger zone for me ;) when I'm inclined to give up, but instead of eating five bags of crisps and four bars of chocolate (which is what I wanted to do!) I went to the gym instead. Bah!!!
 
Well done everybody who has lost or stayed the same.

Karen, dont give up, sometimes it takes more than a week to show. I bet you find next week it will have come off.

As for me, well I am pleased to bits, this has been my first real week of dieting and I lost 5 pounds :cheer2: , where from I could'nt tell you as I cant see any difference, but it has encouraged me to keep going in the hope I can lose over a stone before August. Although I am going to Valencia this Friday for 4 days and dont know how well I will behave over there.

Well done Sarah and Michelle for losing 1lb, and also to Karen for staying the same. I'm looking forward to doing Cath's 'I went to WDW and lost a few pounds diet', I must admit that I don't tend to eat so much at WDW, and with all that walking, it does seem to keep the weight off. Unfortunately with us doing the 3 night cruise first, and with all that wonderful food and Bahama Mamas I will probably put on half a stone there :rotfl2:

Finally a very well done to Sue for losing 5lbs - thats brilliant, and I hope you have a great time in Valencia

It's hard to believe that most of us have been on this diet since the New Year (16 weeks ago) so to be fair I think we have done really well, I have lost 17 lbs and I have easily dropped a dress size, but it is hard to stay motivated now cos I WANT CHOCOLATE !!!

Anyway well done again, and good luck for the coming week
