 Hey Girls

Well I think we've recovered enough from the last Girly Weekend, to begin thinking about this years ;)

So, where do you fancy going this year ? Back to the old favourites ? or somewhere new ?

Over the next few weeks I'll set up different polls i.e. where, when, hotels etc and you can vote for your favourite

The first poll will be for 'Where' you fancy going. I will put in previous venues, and if you vote for somewhere else, then please post about hotels, restaurants, clubs that you can recommend

It would be lovely to catch up with those of you who have survived our previous Girly weekends, and of course it will be great to see some new faces too ::yes::

Please only vote if there is a good chance that you will join us :)

Read all about our previous escapades here :~

Southampton 2010

Cardiff 2011

Bring it on !!! :dance3:

I included Manchester to the poll for our Northern DISers, plus I stayed at the Premier Inn over the Christmas holiday which was perfect for the Printworks area, a bar/club area that had a Hard Rock Cafe too :)

Hullo.

Am super excited!

I voted Mancester no for other reason than it seems like a nice place for a good time.

Manchester has a Red Hot World Buffet which could be a nice option for food (can't link as on iPhone).

Ahhh, I just re-lived the Cardiff weekend :goodvibes It was so much fun!

I've gone for Manchester, purely because even if I couldn't make a full weekend (with the little one arriving pretty soon :scared1:) I know I could make the day-time events as I'm only 20 minutes outside of Manchester centre.

Looking forward to seeing what gets chosen! :thumbsup2

I vote for Manchester ... the printworks is a great place .. lots of places to eat and drink. There is also good shopping. :thumbsup2

Same here, I definitely won't be able to do a weekend as my baby is due in July but I live 15 minutes from the city centre so hopefully would come for during the day like lunch as long as it is not when I am giving birth!;)

oooh im tempted to vote for Birmingham but happy with Manchester, if that wins. :goodvibes

I have voted Manchester. That way, it I end up having to work the weekend that was chosen, I could still join you all for dinner and the evenings.

I hv voted birmingham purley because I work mainly weekends but if I hv enough notice I can try and get it off or join u after/ before work depending which month it is. Manchester my second choice.:thumbsup2

Could you vote again Alyson, as it looks like it didn't appear on the poll, thanks :)

Birmingham from the list for me, or how about Liverpool or Brighton which would be fab in the summer to sit on the beach, have fun on the pier or go shopping round the lanes?

You've certainly sold Brighton to me Claire, and if others are interested in going there (or Liverpool), I would need help in finding hotels, bars, restaurants etc, as I've not visited either before :)

The Thistle is nice, right on the seafront for hotel. As for food there are some really nice restaurants either chain or independent. Nightclubs there are a few along with casinos :)

Sounds great, especially if everything is within walking distance :)
