I think May is buckin' for the peeps Martha Stewart look alike award! WOW! I am glad graduation dinner / party / visit with the inlaws went smoothly! Sounds like a good time by all. The whole confederate uniform thing is beyond my comprehension considering I can't even get a button to stay on when I try to fix one.

What's up with the smileys? They're all moved around again! Guess they also partied over the weekend?!

Hung out at the neighbors yesterday afternoon / evening...tried Capt. Morgan Mojitos in a bottle. They were OK - not like REAL Mojitos but convenient and not as cabonated as the Smirnoff Ice stuff which is good. I don't do all that carbonation very well. Too bubbly.

OK, well, DS has his Visual Presentation for his big research project at 9:30 so I am off to school for a bit...

I am confused Ophie..why would one mess up good guacamole or good chocolate by mixing them???...that just doesn't sound good to me! I did make a big bowl of guac on Sunday while the pork was tanning...yummy!

Back from cabin - heeps of laundry to do - went to Target for coffee, cat food, baby cereal and tp! And then to Gap Outlet for t-shirts- bought the girls NOTHING! Shirts for Mommy I say. So take that.

TZM - I wanna run a WDW race with you!! But me no run at race speeds. And let's say maybe a 15K - nothing longer. Maybe end of 2009 early 2010!? Need time to "train" It must happen says I. That would be really fun!! Who else wants to run with TZM, Ophie and TRM!!??

I think they have a half marathon at WDW in January don't they? Well, my cousins husband ran in it this past January anyway. It was the week before MLK weekend 'cuz they left like the day before we went down or something like that.

No new jobs out there today. You would think there would be something new, right?!

the chili has tomatos too...i could make an omlet bar and you could top whatever you want...

this is my favorite "got home from the gym, what can I eat meal"..sometimes if we have taco meat, I use that..sometimes it is spinach and mushrooms..whatever I can find to throw in there

you know what is sad??

we haven't even started this vacation, and I am looking for the next one.

DH and I want to go away for a weekend in Aug/Sept..we went to the Ritz in Naples in 2006 and had the best time just hanging by the pool and beach alone..He has told me to start looking for a package (we had a "reconnect" package that year that included full breakfast and valet) deal...trouble is, I don't know where to go! I don't want to go too far because I don't want to waste all my time getting there...DH even said he would do Vero again!!

OH! The CABIN! I was confused with the ranch! You have so many places!

OK, so I got a call late this afternoon for another interview on Thurs. morning. Can I just puh-lease make this one work somehow?! Thurs. will be 3 months to the day since I got laid off and this will be my 4th interview. That's starting to sound bad isn't it? I found the job in the little local "Gazette" newspaper that lands in the driveway every Wed. It is where I get all of my local scoop for the "Up County" as they call us. Anyway, it is for an Admin in the Marketing Dept. of a company that primarily designs commercial kitchens & food service facilities (as well as Laundry and Solid Waste/Recycling projects). I had never heard of them before but their HQ is only 3.5 miles away so THAT sounds good. I was not a fit for the IT Admin. at MedImmune who needed to be an Excel wizard, nor a fit for the grocery delivery warehouse admin. job nor the Hughes Network Software Engineer Dept. Admin. thing... Perhaps a Marketing Dept. would be a nice change of pace?! Just please, please, please this time!!!! I just ran into a neighbor who's a big wig in journalism. She works at the company who publishes the Kiplinger Newsletter or something. She was trying to give me a pep talk...I was like "Can't you just go for me on Thurs. morning and then I'll show up for work once you get the job?!" She is someone who ooozes confidence and she knows how to negotiate. You can see the confidence on her the minute you see her. Me. I got none left at this point.

OK, so we went & registered for the summer swim team this evening. Have practice the next 3 nights in a row from 6-7:00. I saw a couple other parents from his school - out of like 100. But at least there were a couple of familiar faces. I stuck my hand in the water! Tomorrow is only supposed to be a HIGH of 69/70. Poor DS!! It will be a hectic evening...haircuts at 4:00...swimming at 6:00...I am glad I'm getting the ears lowered before the beeg interview tho. But I gots myself a big 'ole zit on my chin! It will NOT be gone by then. I think it has roots.

I love both tomatoes AND onions...raw OR cooked.

yes..she is soooo abused!!!

Are you guys running or walking the half marathon in 2010? I can walk it but can't run it. DH used to run marathons until 2nd son came around. He might be geared up to run the marathon in 2010 with his father.

RED/PURPLE onions raw or cooked are to die for!!

I found a beard in the pirate section today at a party shop. DS10 will use it for the pirate party also!! He said that I didn't need to sew gold buttons on the uniforms after seeing the selection at JoAnn's. I don't have to buy a sword anymore either!! We did not see one at the dollar store. DS10 will use his wooden gun that came from WDW.

Beano, In-Laws signed up to do the DCL Atlantis. My 5 are just going to take a taxi over and do our own tour. We will not do the water parks. We will do one at WDW ater the cruise.
