DIS Exclusive Backstage Magic 7/29 - 8/3/18

And I just booked my flights! This is one of the few times I'm happy I sometimes have to travel for work (used my airline miles)!

We booked the 11:45 pm red eye back to Boston on Friday to take advantage of our last day at Disneyland. Will ABD still coordinate our shuttle to the airport that late in the day?

Hi everyone!

I am so excited to be joining you all on my first ABD trip! I've only been to Disneyland twice, once as a kid, and two years ago. My home is Montreal Canada so I frequent Disney World much more often. I'll be travelling solo as well, so I look forward to meeting and making new friends and hope some of you experts out there can help guide a newbie like me.

Hi everybody! Kira here :) I too am super excited for this trip! It will be my first ABD and I’m traveling solo, so it will be great to be doing so with other DISers, Pete, and Ryno! I live in Tucson, AZ, so I have visited Disneyland many, many times. It holds an incredibly special place in my heart for many different reasons and the opportunity to experience Disney Magic like this, joined by like minded people, is particularly exciting and meaningful. Can’t wait!!

Thought I'd share a DIS Contributor article that I wrote last month...the idea behind it led me to book this trip just for myself! http://www.wdwinfo.com/walt-disney-world/family-time-our-time-and-my-time-keeping-the-magic-alive/
I have traveled to both WDW and DL by myself and it’s great! I’ve also enjoyed going with family, friends, and my significant other, but there’s something unique about going by yourself. Doing things at your own pace, geeking out on things that others may not find interesting, trying new things nobody else would want to do, etc., makes for a more relaxed and unique experience.

I was just thinking about this tip and wondering if we will get to see Walt's apartment? Pretty sure I saw it on the list of things that we would do, but I thought I also remembered hearing that it was recently discontinued from the ABD trips (maybe bc it's not ADA compliant). Does anyone know? Thanks!
