DIS Divas Trip! (old thread, see first post for link to new one)

I got my new caps on my teeth today so I can actually enjoy some Disney food on this trip. :mickeybar
I have a dentist appointment right before the trip. They better not try to do any invasive right before I leave!! I won't have my partials for a while still so eating should be a challenge. Darn it. Oh, well. Soft foods and drinks for me!

Does everyone seem to plan your days out pretty well? Or just kind of wing it, other than the planned activities?
I just wing it. When I go with my family we are there open to close and have a plan. On these trips, I just go where the wind takes me. :thumbsup2

That was my first time too along with my first jello shots (actually my only jello shot, lol).
One jello shot every four years? Slow down now, Shirley, you might get a bad rep. ;)

Boo! 60% chance of rain on the 28th.

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I'd love some rain, but it won't happen. I know it won't just because I want it to. LOL

So I found out that guests of the Disney hotels can particiapate in a 2 mile power walk through a closed DCA every morning at 7:00am. On Sunday the walk is through DTD, also at 7:00am. I want to do this at least one morning, maybe more. Anyone else interested?

From the Disney Parks Blog:

Being on vacation at the Disneyland Resort is no reason to neglect your exercise routine! Every morning, Disneyland Resort hotel guests can join a two-mile power walk through Disney California Adventure park before the park opens for guests. Guided by a Disneyland Resort guest activities cast member, the power walk is a great way to stay in shape, learn a little trivia and get a peek at this special, quiet time in the park.

From the Disney Parks Blog:

I'd do it with you (not Sunday) -- so long as it doesn't impact my early morning entries

I hear ya, one of my molars she worked on had the root canal by the other dr and I still have some kind of feeling but not to cold or hot just I can feel something. So I am learning to eat again on my left side as it's been a very long time since I could.

I have a mini plan nothing to strict, mostly with all the goings on my time is very limited anyway.
One jello shot every four years? Slow down now, Shirley, you might get a bad rep. ;)
So what if she does, I will be her new BFF and we can have shots together and share the bad rep :cool1:

As we know this is not going to happen it would be a nice little bit of fun if it did?

You just keep on wanting that rain Beth, so it won't happen! Us PNW'ers are looking for a break!

Looks like Friday would work. DCA opens at 9am so EE would be at 8am.
Yep, that is my thinking as well. I will try for Friday.

A couple people posted they were interested. SarahMay, Courtney and her mom, Wendy C, Ruth, Lyn. Not sure they all agreed on a day though. Some were talking about Saturday, some Sunday. Hope it works out and you get to power walk with some other Divas.
I'd totally do it....if it was a slow stroll with stops to admire the park benches. ;)

So this walk, where do we meet if we do it? Maybe I will do more than one days worth. Believe me it wont hurt to walk off the good food I plan to eat. ;)

Too Bad Sarah -- wish you got in sooner! Friday morning doesn't give me enough time to get to EE for DCA :guilty:

I'm in for Thursday morning! I need the exercise while I am gone since I am missing so many of my classes when I am away!

I can be ring leader of the Thursday morning walking group :cheer2:

Michele -- you in for Thursday morning? then we can go back to the room, change and get to the gates of DL for EE.

Throwback Thursday collage! 5 years ago on our 2009 trip. :)

First pic is our group photo in front of the Mickey floral which is where it's going to be again this year.
In the second pic one of the Divas, Heather, hosted an online game and the winners were able to get into lunch at Club 33!
In the third pic a couple of the ladies are looking a little tipsy while enjoying drinks at the Napa Rose lounge. (Notice Wendy has two drinks? She was sitting next to me and was the one who got my drink that night. lol)
Lastly, more drinks at Cove Bar. You can see the construction for WOC going on in the background if you look closely.

Can't wait to be doing this again for the DIS Diva's 7th time!! :cool1:  :goodvibes
