Good point, Lisa. I can wear a tiara even if no one else does. But, but, but you are wearing one, right, Lisa?

I always wear one for the Princess photo! I can't wear one all day - I have to wear a ballcap to keep the sunburn at bay. Yes, even in February. LOL I have, however, looked at the option of sewing one onto my ballcap.....

Do we know where the lunch is for the tour? And if I have an AP could I buy at the cheaper rate for me and my mom both or would she have to pay the higher price since she will not have the AP?

Lunch is from the Jolly Holiday menu. This is what Mary Jo posted in her review: Choices included the following sandwiches: Caprese, chicken salad, or roasted turkey; or salads: roasted vegetable or Jolly Holiday. We could choose either freshly made chips or fruit, and our dessert choices were: Mickey Chocolate Carmel Tart, Mickey sugar cookie, or white chocolate Matterhorn macaroon.

ETA: Oops, I thought you were asking where the lunch was ordered from! My bad!

As for the tickets, you can buy one for your mom using your AP. At least it used to be that way. When Ruben and I took it, I had an AP and bought the tickets for us.
But, the way it would work in this case for our group is one person would have to call and make the reservation for all.

I definitely agree that Wednesday should be outside the park for dinner and CS for lunch. I'll probably be leaving that day to drive down but I'll probably have to work a half day before I can leave. So I'll get in later, I'll have an AP (and will probably want to go in that night, RSR anyone?) but I do think dinner outside the parks is the better bet. DTD or the GW, I'm good with either. I don't like eating at Tortilla Joe's (I've been sick after eating there twice now) but I love HoB, RBJK & RFC, not a big fan of ESPN Zone but I'd eat there. :) At the GW I'm pretty good with anything there. lol

Thursday, since we have the early dinner it might be better to do our own breakfasts and then do an early in the park somewhere, Rancho, River Belle, Pizza Port, those all come to mind as having enough space for a larger group. :) Unfortunately I think I'll have to pass on the WIWF tour, at $87 it's just a bit too much for me right now. :(

don't have anything to add for Friday, I think it depends on where the scavenger hunt will end up and where people decide to go from there. :)

It seems like Saturday is sort of a broken up kind of day, some will be not coming to the parks, some will, maybe another outside the park meal? At the GW? Or one of the hotels? I love Storytellers, I'd be on board to eat there.

I'm good with Mimi's on Sunday. :)

Wednesday: Dinner at Ralph Brennan's or PF Chang's (I love PF Chang's so much!)

OMG me too! LOL I love it but don't get to eat it that much because I have to drive to get to one, I need one to open in my city....or do I? LOL That could be dangerous....... :rotfl:

Good point, Lisa. I can wear a tiara even if no one else does. But, but, but you are wearing one, right, Lisa?

I'll have one, heck I might wear it the whole dang weekend! :thumbsup2

Hello all I have decided to join the meet. I went a few years back and had a great time. If anyone is looking for a room mate let me know. My dates are flexible. Waves to all the people I met before.

Ruth.

HI Ruth!! someone a few pages back (was it you CamoMama?) was looking for roomies :)

Actually, I think Saturday most people will be in the parks. Honestly, there were only a handful interested in going off site, and most were locals who can go to the parks anytime.

For those of us interested in going to Newport Beach, we need to find someplace fun to eat, too! I am not that familiar with the area though...

I know, right? Before I moved the nearest one was 2 hours away, but there's one about 15 minutes from where we are now. I haven't gone yet, but it's definitely happening in the near future, especially since it's very near the movie theater.

Nope, that wasn't me, sorry. I'm rooming with pixiedustmom at HoJo's.

I do rides rides rides rides, and animation academy and rides and rides and rides. Some people do lots of meals and all, I am more of a grab a chimichanga and go kind of person.

We all end up shooting off in splinter groups of people, often with like touring interests. It is impossible to tour the parks in a group of 30, 40, 75. So, I am sure rides, shopping, people watching, whatever makes you happy will fit in.

Oh dear, what a wrinkle. Hmmm...oh that is totally okay, who says we cannot wear our TIARAS for other photo op occassions?

Yay! I love the rides, so I am glad to hear that others do too! And i would definitely not expect everyone to be touring together. But that sure would be a sight to see!

That's a good plan B, Andrea. I like that idea. ::yes:: So group photo could be in DCA just before the hunt, either by the fountain or the wheel of death. Then on Saturday we plan for the princess photo, but if for some reason that doesn't work out, we can do it in front of the castle.

Exactly!

Holly and I have room for 2 more people in our room at HOJOs.

I might take you up on that! There was someone else that was going to room with me if they couldn't get their sister to come, but not sure what's happening with that.

That was me asking about roomies!

I probably won't be able to attend the goodbye breakfast either as I have to be at the airport no later than 11am. That's ok. I am just excited that I am going to be able to go!

After picking up that cute one at the Disney Store last month, I'll have TWO spares with me this year. No worries, Capri! :rolleyes1

I usually bring a spare or two for roomies who conveniently "forget".

Perhaps, Lisa, you and I will have to hog tie (and do not think I do not know how, agriculture major before I went to Vet school, thank you very much) Capri and super glue a tiara to her resisting head.

Since I am driving and do not have to deal with airplane security issues, I can bring the rope.

Muhahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Ha! As if you will get out of it that easily.

Would you wear a TIARA for this one...hmmmmm?

It's DISNEYLAND. You can wear your tiara EVERYWHERE, 24/7, right?. RIGHT! So you just rest your pretty little tiara adorned head! LOL!

Of course she is. Everyone is. :rolleyes1 :stir:

Crap. I'm so in trouble.

Hey Beth, put "Beer for Breakfast" on the schedule for the same morning as the Princess/tiara photo.

On rides......how many peeps in your party? 40. LOL.

Ok, well if DLH doesn't work out - there is always partying with all of the Divas at the Hojos! :crowded:

I won't be at the goodbye breakfast either. My bus will be taking me home at 8:30 a.m.
But, that's okay. It's there just for those who don't happen to have an early flight/bus/train. :goodvibes

You buying? ;)

Woot! Diva party at the Hojos!! :cool1: I fully expect to see lots of door signs, ladies. Now that we are all back in one place (more or less), it's fun to walk around and know who's where. :thumbsup2

I have an annual pass question! If I have my 3 day park hopper for the trip and I want to upgrade to a Premium (can't afford deluxe) Annual Pass, do I do it on my first day or last day. And do I understand correctly that they take the money you paid for the park hopper off the price of the annual pass?

**REMINDER:
You're Meet and Greet committee is hard at work coming up with fun food ideas and decorations for the Redneck party! It's going to be great. If you haven't already signed up for that, please make sure you do so. If you aren't sure if you'll make it or not just yet, that's fine, we are simply trying to get a general head count. Thanks!!

She's wearing one with her tie dye!:rotfl:

Hi, not sure if we met.
Trudi, so did you decide to not do the tour on Saturday then since it will most likely conflict with the princess/tiara photo? LMK.

No tour. Would rather do Fantasmic dessert. Well would like to do both but a little thing called money is stopping me from that.

As for rides, we seem to split up after meals for whatever rides people are interested in doing.

All this planning is so much fun!
