Dis Dieters week beginning 31st march 08

Well i managed to get my self back on track this week. I lost 3lb!!
Just have to keep at it as i want to loose more before my holiday!

i've lost 10 pounds so far (though the last few weeks have been very slow).
This past week i managed a half pound.

im after some tips or advice form everyone please

i really need to lose at 2lb a week to be able to fit in my shorts for my holiday in july:eek:
i know i might not lose that every week but i really need to try

so i wondered it anyone had any tips or advice that might help me lose this weight
i drink 3 litres of water or low cal juice everyday and im trying to do low fat low cal and just be sensible

any help would be great

Hi Kellie

is it possible to increase your excersise levels ? that combined with lower calories should help :)
 
I lost the 2lbs I put on last week.

Is this my life from now on, gain some, lose some? How can I keep the same weight without yo-yoing? (I don't really expect there to be an answer to that!)

I would aim for a lb a week :) try not to put too much pressure on yourself.

I lost the 2lbs I put on last week.

Is this my life from now on, gain some, lose some? How can I keep the same weight without yo-yoing? (I don't really expect there to be an answer to that!)

Well done everyone - it is really inspiring reading all your successes.

I went to Slimming World tonight, so my diet starts properly tomorrow. My head feels in the right place for this if that makes sense and I am pretty determined. My best friend is getting married in September and I want to get something nice to wear that doesn't have to come from Evans! Our next WDW holiday is in 10months and I would love to loose 5 or 6 stone. It sounds loads when I put it like that :eek: but i'm going to aim for a stone every two months and just see how it goes.

Hi Mrs Hobbes....Congrats on joining Slimming World today. :yay:

I have a similar situation to you. I joined SW in October and have lost 2 stone so far but I have struggled to lose anything in the past 4 - 5 weeks but i'm finally ready to get back on track when I weigh in tomorrow night. Start afresh as they say! :laughing:

In October when I joined SW I made a deal with my husband that if I lose 6 stone before December then we can go to WDW for 2 weeks...I've always wanted to go christmas time! He didn't want to go back as last time we went in 2006 I didn't want to go on any of the rides as I was too self conscious. :headache:

I try not to look at the overall amount and just break it down in to smaller mini goals! Hopefully we can help and encourage each other...:hug: You will get lots of support from everyone on here!

thanks for all your advice, i think i do put to much preasure on myself and should just do my best and i will lose what i lose.

breaking my goal into smaller targets is a good idea.
