:wave2: Welcome to another week of dieting guys

Is it just me, or are all these Bank Holidays playing havoc with your dieting ? It's hard enough when the kids are off school, but with the Bank Holidays comes nice family meals and more eating out. Plus with the schools closed our zumba classes have been cut and I've only got one this week

So as you may guess, I have been struggling with my dieting over the last week

:dance3: Well done to everyone who lost or STS last week ..

 .. Hugs to anyone who put on (I bet like me you'll be glad when the kids are back at school and you can get back to your normal routine) ..

:wizard: .. and Good Luck to everyone for your weigh-ins this week

can't believe it's a week since you put up the last dieters thread - it's gone so quickly.

Yep, I'm struggling, even more so because I bought some Skippy peanut butter on Saturday - it was just a small jar but there's not much left. I don't usually have it in the house, it's only me that eats it and I'm just a tiny bit addicted to peanut butter and to have Skippy, well, it's Christmas and birthday in one!

Good luck everyone, I shall be weighing in on Wednesday as usual but I don't hold out much hope!

I'll be joining for the first time this week - too much winter comfort-eating! Need to lose 7lb by the end of May.

So far today; a cuppa and 20 minutes on the cross-trainer. Time for a shower and then some lunch!

Aiming for 1200 calories a day to kick start it for the first few weeks, then I'll up it to 1400.

Welcome to our dieting thread Kath :wizard: Good luck at reaching your target by the end of May :thumbsup2

I was dreading my fortnightly weigh inyesterday because 4 days at Disney doesn't do much for your waistline. Amazingly I had lost 3lb. :cool1::cool1:
3lb + 12lb lost this year = 15lb.
That's the stone reached and I am v.v.v happy.

Hi Guys,

it's that time of year again for me. I have been off work
after shoulder surgery, which has given me ample time to
"pork" as much as possible. So with bated breath, I stood
on the weightwatchers scales, watching the numbers just
wizz on and on.:rotfl2:

Eventually i look looked down and a small tear fell on the scales.
I have never been so heavy. OK i said. I stood on one leg and
weighed myself again. Oh woe is me is it possible to weigh
more with one leg missing......yes indeed is the answer.:thumbsup2

So with a forlorn frown on my brow, and with ex army
determination. I suck it in (well as best as possible). Chin up,
chest out, and look to my fellow dissers for your help.:lmao:

Please help me Mandy, for i need reforming (literally) into
my once fit and vibrant alter ego "Harry the fit sod".....

your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

Harry the Porker:yay:

 Aww Harry, my first piece of advice is, don't weigh yourself with just one leg (what are you like ?) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

So m'dear, what diet are you hoping to do ? Are you joining a class ? or just doing the usual cutting down and adding a bit of exercise ?

Just remember to not think about losing lots of weight, just set mini-goals, you'll reach them much quicker ::yes::

:wizard: Good luck Harry, you can do it !! :wizard:

Im addicted to Peanut Butter too and like you wont allow it in the house. A jar would be gone within the week if i did :)

Excellent loss! Well done :woohoo:

This week I lost 1.lbs :yay: Which takes me to a total loss this year of 37lbs.

I reset my goal weight a few weeks ago at Weight Watchers and now only have 3.5lbs to go to reach it :woohoo:

Ive now really reached a point where im losing motivation as to be honest im pretty happy with my weight now. And i return to work part time next week after 13 months on Maternity leave so to be honest from now on if i stay the same i will be happy. :goodvibes

are you going to try to lose the 3.5lbs? you may find it will come off once back in work, i know you said you are happy with your weight that you are now but just wondered if you were going to lose the little bit left

well I got off lightly  STS after all that choccy..popcorn::
Just joined the monthly pass at ww tonight, should keep me on track instead of paying weekly.. also bought the ww magazine, jacket pot is in the oven for my tea and in losing mode now!!

 Well done Laura for losing another pound, you must be very proud of yourself to have lost so much weight. I agree with Jeanette, I think once back to work you will lose that final 3.5lbs :cool1: Well done again hun

:woohoo: Well done on STS Jeanette, it's been a tough week with all that temptation around. It sounds like you're very motivated now :wizard: Keep up the good work

lots of weight losses and positivity, well done all those that lost or STS and also well done to those of us sticking with it even though it can seem that it's never going to work. I forgot to weigh this morning because I ended up going to work which meant I also missed my WW class. That's now 5 weeks since I actually went to my WW session and probably that long since I managed to follow the plan for a whole week. I'm going to try to remember to step on my scales in the morning (daren't do it now because I've not long eaten).

It's getting desperate now because my ticker tells me it's only just over 3 months until WDW in the heat of August.

Anyone got a spare huge kick up the backside going - I think it's needed in my direction!

 Sorry to hear that you're struggling at the moment Louise, how much more are you hoping to lose before your holiday ? Maybe your target is too high and you don't feel that you can reach it in time, perhaps you should just concentrate to losing 3 or 4lbs a month and hopefully once you get back into your dieting routine you will lose more (if you know what I mean)

:wizard: Good luck for your weigh-in tomorrow hun and fingers crossed you'll have a good week

I am going to try and lose that last 3.5lbs :) it would be amazing to actually get to my goal weight and get the WW gold card. I've done so many diets over the years I'm so pleased with myself for actually getting back to a healthy weight.

I'm actually looking forward to returning to work as I've missed being me rather than being a mum or a wife if you knowwhat I mean. Plus extra money for Disney is always good!

Jeanette I really found the monthly pass and magazines helped with motivation! Plus I found it easier to track online :)
