Dis Daily Fix Hiatus

Since the lack of the Daily Fix being available as a podcast seems to come up frequently, it's worth noting that many websites can rip the audio from YouTube videos to an mp3 file that can be loaded on a mobile device. Just takes a few clicks, and the process only takes a minute or two. I rip the file everyday while working on other stuff at work and then can listen in my car, since viewing the YouTube video each day isn't practical for me.

That's a lot of work to do just to listen to a 4 minute audio clip daily.

In the time it takes to rip the audio from youtube and transfer to your phone, you could have watched it.

Well when there isn't much other news to talk about its an easy filler story. I don't see why that's a big deal. They are helping people by being aware to not buy tickets from a vendor like that. Make sure you buy from a well known third party or from Disney itself.

true but the people who are likely to buy them aren't probably paying attention to the dis or the daily fix. It's like preaching to the choir we all no not to do it so it's not really an important news story thath need coverage.

Sure the majority know better but new people are finding the dis, and disunplugged every day. Having that as news could help those newbies.

I understand you have an opinion which is different than mine. I just don't see why you have to go after me and true and make me agree with you. I don't like the daily fix and telling me that others do isn't going to change my mind about it. I like all the other podcasts they do and I just don't see a need for a daily news show.

I think it matters because we are often the ones who friends and family turn to when planning trips or when they have questions. There have been quite a few times where a friend asked me about the best place to get tickets or specifically asked about buying tickets on ebay or from one of the roadside stands. Because I'm aware of the fraud that goes on, I steered them away from doing that and pointed them towards official sellers. It never hurts to be reminded of this, plus if someone still doubts what I'm telling them, I can send them a link to one of those recent stories.

I'm just sad there's a break as I've just realized that I can watch the show live on my phone on my way home from work. (Yes I know people have probably be doing for years, but be nice I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to subscriptions and broadcast shows on "The YouTube" )

Oh and just an FYI For anyone who was worried, I get the train so I'm not watching and driving lol

Oh and to throw in my 2 cents (or in my case 2 pence) I like the daily fix even if it just for the weather so I can envy everyone from the cold.

I think they like bringing up the photos of the people caught in these scams ... as they always look like, well, exactly how you would expect people that execute scams like this

I miss it too, looking forward to the return. Also excited for more DL content from the Orlando team. Planning a once every ten years stay at the DL hotel, so I can't wait for the great videos, etc.
