That would have been awesome considering you a) are a fellow Cubs Fan and b) have children roughly the same age as mine. But that's right when we'll be sitting down at WCC. Maybe next year.

Getting a group shot is a very good idea. I'd say two versions - one with just the dads, and then another with the families included (at least those families who are there...). I would recommend off to the side of the Castle at the little Rose Garden instead of the straight-on view. Plus they often have a photopass person there, so if anyone is doing PP and purchases the CD, that image could then be shared with anyone else is not doing PP - in addition to all of the "regular" cameras that will be there.

I know the spot your thinking of, it will work out for a Dad photo, I not so sure it would be able to fit in all the familes, we might have to come up with a 2nd location for a family shot

We like to keep things with some flexibility, but here is where we plan to be as things stand now:

12/7 arrive in the afternoon, no plans
12/8 DHS morning, Cali Grill dinner
12/9 Epcot Le Cellier with CP
12/10 MK with MVMCP and dessert party
12/11 off
12/12 Epcot, Biergarten lunch and trying to hook up with a group that has an illuminations cruise booked and room for 2 more
12/13 open morning, DHS late lunch Hollywood & Vine with Fantasmic
12/14 probably AK morning then MVMCP and dessert
12/15 Keys to the Kingdom tour morning, Luau at the Poly evening
12/16 open morning, MVMCP evening
12/17 MK morning, leave in the afternoon

Some of that is subject to change, and the open/off times will be at the whim of DW.

great, that means the place is expected to be packed. disney adding hours means disney is expecting a gazillion people.

Greetings! First I owe everybody an apology for not logging in lately to participate in planning this event. It's been a crazy few months. After some "iffy" time when I didn't know if this trip would work or not we are finally in the countdown. The trip has changed from Me and DD and D'Neice to include D'Sister and D'OtherNeice and D'Nephew.
I don't know what time I'll have but I would like to know the secret handshake/password and get the T-shirt. It would be great to be at at least one of the photo ops.

Since Dec 6th will be the Super Bowl of Dads at MK we should try to make it as productive as possible that everyone including family members & friends will enjoy

We should do the group Christmas photo (Dads + group shot), do the parade & fireworks.
