Just curious. Why do some posters use the handle DIS Cast Member, when they obviously aren't, judging by some of the questions asked. (Meaning, if you were truly a DIS Castmember, you would know the answer already). Can anyone use this handle?

The "Dis Cast Member" tag was put under my username when I reached a certain number of posts...I didn't choose it myself.

OK, now I understand. Thanks for the reply. I thought it was reserved for true castmembers.

I think that the DIS stands for these boards, not Disney.

Yeah, I was also confuesed by this. I am a seasonal CM, and was surprised that so many "Dis CM's" were on here, lol.

I was about to start asking where people worked until I realized it was just a post count activated user title. :p

Funny enough, I thought it was reserved for "real" CM's too until it popped up under my screen name. It will stay threre until I get tagged...if that ever happens...but who knows!

Ah that answers my question as well! Lol What does the one poster mean by it will stay their handle until they get tagged though? Is that another thing on these boards? lol

Check out my tagline on the left. Tag fairies pin tags to your name/title next to your posts. It's just a bit of magic around the DIS. . .one never knows when a tag fairy may strike! :cheer2:
